Howdy!
I (and probably some other people) would just love it if someone would snatch up Oliver Poliakoff.
I'm mostly asking for this character because I'd really love to see some of his perspective on what's been going on. He can't just be a puppet villain (or can he?).
He has backstory. He has a juicy plot. He has the dramaz.
Here's just a sample of his tale so far:
- Oliver went to Hogwarts where he was a good little pureblood and was in Ravenclaw. His (ever so slightly older) twin brother Kaiden was a Slytherin.
- During the Marriage Law plot, Kaiden married Adrienne Reynolds. Everyone was happy... for a while
- Kaiden went missing!
- Obviously, a pureblood household couldn't lose their heir just like that so Oliver was forced to take Kaiden's place. Nobody knew except the Poliakoff parents and Oliver.
- Unfortunately Oliver just isn't that into girls. So he started hooking up with Shylock Ashcroft.
- Oliver was being pressured by his parents. He might have taken it out on Shylock just a little bit but Shylock didn't mind at the time.
- Around this time, Adrienne was feeling neglected and Selwyn persuaded her that she should seek an annulment in this thread
- Around this point, Oliver did something that Shylock thought was not so okay. Exactly what it was can be worked out, but it resulted in Shylock confiscating Oliver's wand whenever they were together from that point on.
- Adrienne talked to "Kaiden" and his parents about an annulment. Leading to this
- Then, Shylock hooked up with Selwyn, and a few weeks later, dumped Oliver as mentioned here.
- Skipping to current events, it turns out Kaiden is back, but only Adrienne knows right now.
Honestly, if that doesn't persuade you, I dunno what will...
