Getting things situated in the store {open}

Esmeralda began putting everything up in her shop, the heavy duty shelves that would hold the bolts of fabric were up already. She started with the front window, she had four mannequins each of different size as well as shape. She dressed them in clothes she had made before getting the store, the short one was in a suit in jade. It was paired with a small jade necklace, she positioned it in the front laying a few bolts of fabric in front and beside it. She dressed the next two in dresses of red and yellow, each of them with necklaces that matched. The last one was the really tall one, she dressed it in a suit as well but it was a black in the pocket she put a handkerchief. She put that one in the back but in a visible spot, on the floor around them were a magnitude of color and material. She then began putting clothes in the sections based on someone's body size, she also had sections in the middle that went for people who were between them. People who were tall and big, short and skinny, etc. that needed clothes that would fit them. After all the clothes were done she started on the boxes that were situated along the walls. Opening them then setting the bolts of cloth on the walls in their colors as well as the type of fabric they were. In the back of the store was the raised dais that had a semi circular wall of mirrors that would allow for a large view of what the person was wearing. On either side of that were doors that lead to dressing rooms that people could use to change into. On the doors there were decorative lettering saying Men's Dressing Rooms or Ladies Dressing Rooms. There was another door that was cleverly hidden near the corner of the store that held her office. The store was a beautiful teal color that made the fabric's on the walls stand out. In the middle of the store was a circular counter that held registers as well as a metal rod that had hook on each side that had plastic bags behind it. The bags would protect the dresses that were bought and there were garment bags with Emse's Specialty Clothing & Design

It was nighttime when she finally finished everything, smiling at her work she looked around before grabbing her keys and jacket. She walked around the store making sure she had everything done before walking out the door locking it behind her. She breathed a sigh of relief of finishing everything that night and wondered if she should grab something to eat then head home. She began walking down the street of Diagon Alley towards Eli's to try and get something to eat. She heard footsteps behind her and made sure she didn't seem like was an easy target. She walked a little bit faster but made sure it seemed like it was to get out of the cold instead of getting away from the person who was behind her. She was always over-worried about walking home at night so her imagination tended to run wild. So she grabbed a quick bite to eat from Eli's then walked home and fed Lucy.

The Next Day

Esme walked with Lucy on her leash past all the shops in Diagon Alley and stopped at the door to hers. She opened the door and walked in smiling as she turned on the lights and made sure everything was in order before flipping the sign to open. She walked into her office and unhooked Lucy's leash, Lucy walked over to the dog bed off to the side and laid down. In the office there was a sewing machine and a large area for working, then there was a solid oak desk. The desk was neat and organized with no clutter but several sketches of new clothing ideas.
