It was dark the rain was poring down the windows but Li saw warm inside the Three Broomsticks, He'd chosen to sit close to the large stone fire place in one of its courners a warm drink of sake sat held in his hands. Yet his eyes sat closed in silent medition his breathing steady he'd worked everal months now for the minister and his family and was enjoying it but he felt time away was good as well seeing how he was not acustomed to all the noise of all the children around him at the main house.
The sake moved gently in a circle as he tried to keep his hands still the vibrations of people walking around him selt ripples in the clear liquid. The Broom was busy but not noisy and he was thankful for as he could hear all the footsteps and chatter around him. Lifting the small cup slowly to his lips he took a small sip and felt its warmth flow down his throat and into his body. But it was now that he heard the door open and a soft chilled blast of air hit him, a scent was carried on that breeze and he slowly opened his eyes to look around it was one he had smelt before but didn't know the owner of, once again he took a slow sip of his sake his composure one of inwardly a man ready for trouble but outwardly calm and collect as he waited.
