This bored her to no extent, but there was nothing Ophelia could do, so she struggled with her best efforts against the irritating feeling that was growing inside of her.
She knew that she was good at brewing potions or simply following the instructions given to her, but was it really that hard for the others to keep up? She did not know, but as she peeked around, she saw that the students were still focused on their potions. Ophelia sighed. If only she possessed the courage to ask the professor to leave earlier, she would have been long gone from here.
Her eyes fell and she concentrated on the book again, or at least she tried to, since her eyes scanned the words but no information made its way to her brain.
And there it was -- something that would get her thoughts away from those long minutes that were missing from the end of their lesson. A whisper that startled Ophelia first, but then she gathered herself and turned around.
Much to her surprise, or maybe not so much, she was addressed by a fellow Ravenclaw student. She had seen him around, but again, he was one of those she never dared to speak to. He just seemed so dark and powerful compared to her, and his confidence reeked from him. Something that made Ophie envious.
Pushing red locks away from her face, she locked her blue eyes on his face and bit her lip. So he did not bother making a face that he was still busy. Interesting. She supposed he wasn't one of those shy Ravenclaws who wished to stay invisible then.
"Yes." She was busted and there was no reason to lie now. Shrugging, Ophelia turned her gaze towards the professor who was busy reading something behind the table. Looking back at him, she nipped on her lower lip but said nothing. He probably wouldn't understand her desire to stay as unnoticed as possible.
