Sebastien knocked on a door, with a bucket of flowers in his arms, it wasn't an easy task. After a couple of seconds middle aged woman with bunch of brown hair and crystal blue eyes opened the door. The woman smiled the exact second she saw them, she bent down and kissed the top of Barbara's head and hugged her.
"Sebastien, I'm so glad to see you." Before she could hug him he extended his hands with a bouquet towards her. "Flowers for my favourite woman." He inhaled sharply when Barbara hit him in a lower leg. "Second favourite, I mean." He rolled his eyes and looked at Barbara. "That wasn't nice, kid." She hit him again, probably because he called her 'kid' again, although she pointed out she's 11 at least a dozen of times, Barbara came inside, leaving her father on the doorstep. Charming little child.
"You have a wonderful daughter Sebastien." The woman, Jenna, chucked opening the door further to let Sebastien in. "She's just like you when you were her age."
"I'm glad to see you, aunt." He kissed her cheek and came in before she could see him blushing.
Sebastien found Barbara sitting on a sofa next to blonde witch and whispering something to her. The moment she saw him, she stopped and smiled, she made a circle above her head, probably pointing that there's only halo missing, or something like that. Kids were still a mystery to Sebastien O'Sullivan.
Sebastien looked at his brother, pointed to the kitchen, and started walking in that direction hoping Christian would understand and follow him.
"Dad?"
Sebastien stopped. He still hasn't used to be called like that, he doubted he'll get used to it at all. He turned on his heels, immediately meeting Barbara's eyes.
"Where are you going?" He could still hear thick accent, but with every day that passed it was becoming less noticeable.
"I.. I need to speak with uncle Christian for a moment. I'll be back in a couple of minutes." His plan about quietly leaving the room was blown up now, he realized as the blonde witch glanced in his reaction. He did his best in ignoring her, he couldn't be rude in front of his daughter but that doesn't mean he couldn't ignore the blonde.
He entered the kitchen and leaned against the wall crossing hands on his chest. Sebastien gazed at Christian. "What's she doing here?" Ex-Slytherin sighed seeing brother's puzzled look. "Nymeria Evanesco?" He spat. "Little blonde? The irritating one? Ring any bells?" Sebastien was sure they broke up a year ago, maybe even more, so there wasn't a reason for him to bring her here, or to be near her at all.
Before Christian could open his mouth, to argue with him, Sebastien was sure. On the other hand, he wasn't sure why his brother liked that girl, she was annoying, naive, somewhat stupid and too much clumsy, or at least he saw her that way. The doorbell saved Sebastien, he walked outside of kitchen, but stopped on its doorway. "Don't forget that thought, I'll be back in a minute." He turned and walked toward the entrance door, hoping that there are Faulkners on the other side of the door, it was well known he disliked the Evanesco girl, and his best friend was one of few people that could force him to act politely, even if that means he'll see her brother too. His two least favourite people at one place, if this wasn't about Lilyanya's safety he would have already disappeared.
