Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Yesterday Hallie had finally plucked up the courage to visit her Father at Michael Tremain's house upon discovering that he was alive the week before. The entire week the blonde had found work a challenge. Robert Lupin had ensured her duties weren't too taxing but Hallie had been hoping for a distraction. She understood the concern, how was she supposed to perform her best when a huge lie in her life had been uprooted? Especially seeing as Hallie was an emotional rollercoaster who had only recently managed to reel in control of her emotions.

Getting the chance to talk to him again, see the creases around his eyes, smell the scent of burning tobacco, feel that warmth only a Father can give were things Hallie never believed would happen. Sure for a while the little girl inside would look out of the window and expect to see him walking up the driveway as though nothing had changed although acceptance soon took over and Hallie had had to learn to push those fantasies away and stay grounded. Little did she know that her Father had still been out there and, although unlikely, could have possibly walked up the driveway.

As enjoyable as it was to see him their meeting had brought out all the pain Hallie had felt in her life. It was torture. She'd been full of rage, confusion, heartache, foolishness and joy all at once and, being one to make a heart on a sleeve her signature fashion trend it had only resulted in a energy draining crash landing. There was still information that her Father had told her Hallie still was trying to comprehend and accept but that was being pushed back by their ending conversation when they simply sat down to get to know each other. Needless to say after the ride seeing her Father was yesterday Hallie desperately wanted someone to talk to about what happened.

The usual human diary for Hallie was Maura and had been since Hogwarts but now Maura was a Mother working full time at St Mungo's and trying desperately to maintain her marriage to Rio. Maura was a no fly zone area at the moment and, in all honesty, this time around she wasn't the first person that Hallie thought to talk to. Maura had never known that Hallie had began to investigate her Father's past, discover his true allegiance upon a conversation she'd had in the leaky cauldron. Only one person was aware of this: Tobias Acker.

After a morning spent in the office Hallie filled the paperwork regarding a situation when a wizard attempted to duel a muggle unknowingly after they'd displayed magic (magic going haywire really was causing the department of magical law a lot of problems) and headed off for lunch. There was a sandwich in her bag with an apple and some acid pops meaning Hallie had no real reason to leave her box apart from there was something nagging the auror that needed to be brought to light and that mean't speaking to Tobias. What is was she wanted to say Hallie wasn't quite sure all she knew was that she needed to talk her thoughts through with someone and she hoped the head of magical law enforcement wasn't too busy.

The office door opened as she arrived and a mail clerk walked out, holding the door open for her.

'Thank you.' She said politely smiling before knocking on the already open door to the room for which she had already entered.

'Hello, Tobias.' She greeted, pressing a smile on her face. 'Are you busy? I know it's lunch time and you may have work or just want to time to relax but I-' Okay now she was starting to come off a bit pushy. 'I was just wondering if you wanted to eat lunch together? She asked, raising the brown paper bag in her hand.

'I also bought you some every flavour beans too.' Reaching in for the carton and tossing them across the office to him. 'I figured they'd keep you entertained whilst trying to shift the mountain of paperwork we've all been getting.'
