So, people have told me recently that, although they appreciate my characters, or I love theirs and we wish we could write together, some folks have had trouble coming up with thread ideas. Understandable, of course, because I find it difficult to write threads that are not leading somewhere specific. This isn't always true, but for the most part I find it helpful to have a goal in mind. So I have had a bit of a think, and I'd like to try something.
Firstly, if you'd rather see if your characters fit into my plot ideas, check my other thread in this forum. I'll edit the link in when I get on my computer. (Sorries)
Now! If none of that really suits your fancy, here's what I'd like to suggest:
As many of you (probably all of you XD) know, I've got a lot of characters, and not a whole ton of time. But I would like to have at least one thread going for the majority of my characters, and I don't want to rely on my stalking the RP section, though I also don't want people to feel intimidated in any way by the fact that I tend to write long posts or because I do have so many characters. Instead of worrying about any of that, I would like to start a series of group threads. I'm more than willing to bring more than one of my characters into one thread, but group threads will give all parties involved more time between replies.
I also hope that starting a thread between characters that rarely, if ever, interact might create a bit of muse. Sometimes it takes writing with someone or with certain characters to have a brilliant idea for a thread, y'know? That said, I'm open to one-on-one threads as well.
I don't want to tell you guys what I want to write about, or who with. I'd like you to toss out ideas, and let me know which characters you want to see more of. Expect short-ish replies, if only to keep the threads going, and hopefully lots more ideas stemming off of those threads. <3
