Dakota wasn’t sure about doing this. She had made a counceling session with Professor Hayes since she had been missing her parents so much. It had been affecting her grades and she was afraid it might start affecting her relationship with Vaughn. She had made the appointment when she was afraid and vulnerable. She took a deep breath and climbed the remaining staircases up to the Guidance office. When she arrived, she blankly stared at the door. She hadn’t told Vaughn she was doing this, but part of her felt like she needed to do it. If not for her, than for her relationship. She knocked on the door and waited

Keiran wasn't entirely sure that he was qualified to help the Slytherin when she requested a meeting with him, but frankly, he had never been someone who should be allowed to counsel. It had started off as an ironic joke. He and Millie giving advice? Hah. They had no real right. But he was hoping that he had started to get the fathering nature in his time as a parent.

So when the knock sounded on the door, Keiran stood and walked over to open the door for her. It felt safer than casting a spell at the door now that magic was going so awry. Just opening a door was not worth the risk. "Miss Rose?" he offered in greeting. "Come on in."

Keiran returned to his couch, gesturing for Dakota to take the other one. "So, on your form, you put that you were having trouble with being away from your family. Did I understand that right? If it would be helpful to just sort of get the feelings out, you're welcome to just sort of talk about whatever it is that's been causing you the most stress."
