Sam didn't mean to be cold with her, it was just the way he was now, after everything that has happened he didn't seem to have any happiness left in him. Sam wasn't expecting to see Hitame, he was a bit off guard just by seeing her here after not seeing her in months. Although Sam asked himself this one small question, did he still like Hitame? Well... of course he does, he never stopped liking her, but he knew that after everything that had happened over the past few months Hitame probably hated him and moved on. He honestly didn't blame her for hating him and moving on, he did practically left her after he kissed her and told her that he likes her.
Sam looked at her and nodded his head. " Yes Ryo knew, he was one of the few people who knew, I think he was one of the few that offered to help if I remember correctly. "said Sam. "Although I told him that he had enough on his plate and I got it, I also told him not to tell you where I was, and I guess he kept the promise."said Sam. " But you know, Ryo isn't the only one who knew, Sophia knew as well although you don't talk to her anymore from what I heard. " said Sam. Since Sophia helped Henry out, Sam realized that her and Sophia weren't as close as they used to be, he could tell that it made Sophia upset even if she didn't want to admit it. Sam didn't know why Hitame and them were so distance from them, what did they ever do to them? Nothing bad as he recalled but at least he wasn't the only one receiving the cold shoulder so was Sophia,
Sam knew about Maura and Ryo's problem and he honestly felt bad for them, they were such a strong couple, he hated that they were breaking apart due to this. Ok...so Maura had a MAJOR problem controlling herself, but she changed and Sam could see that she had. He just couldn't believe that Ryo was having second thoughts about their relationship all because of one mistake Maura made, of course he knew that he was just being wary, but he honestly needed to trust Maura again like he used to. Although he didn't know what was going to happen to them, but all he knew that Maura was a complete mess over it, she wasn't eating right as well as sleeping right although she drank enough to keep her from attacking anyone and keep her strength up Sam knew that it wasn't enough. Sam was sure that Ryo didn't know what he was doing to Maura, Sam knew all about her side of the story, but for Ryo's part he honestly didn't know.
Sam felt bad for both of them, they really didn't have anyone to talk to about it, but Maura have been coming to him and Sophia for comfort, of course Sophia took her under her wing and took care of her. That was one thing Sam could say about Sophia, she was always there when you needed her, no matter what you did she still helped you. Everyone have grown up since they left Hogwarts, they weren't the same kids as they were, they were having real life trails and burdens every single day. Sam knew that he changed after he graduated from Hogwarts, he became more matured and grown, weird how life changes you. Although that was part of growing up, you got older and wiser, you are no longer the kid that you used to.
Sam realizing that he was in a daze for a long time snapped back into reality as he took a drink of his butterbeer. He just couldn't help but not to worry about Maura and Ryo, but he was told by both of them not to worry about it, but he was he hated seeing his friends like this. Especially Maura, she been his best friend since forever, seeing her not happy and bubbly was a bit weird and depressing to him in all honesty. Sam knew that he couldn't help them, this was something that they had to get over by themselves. Sam just felt helpless that he couldn't help them, he hated that he wasn't able to help his friends.
Although he realized that he wasn't the only one who seemed to be in deep thoughts about things, Hitame seemed to look more deep in thoughts then he was. Sam pushed away all the problems that he was having lately from his head and tried to relax, although it wasn't easy seeing how thoughts kept swimming back into his mind. Ugh...would these thoughts ever go away? I just want to enjoy a butterbeer in peace! Sam thought to himself. Sam set down his butterbeer and sighed to himself as he ran his hand through his hair as his emerald eyes looked out the window at the falling snow that was hitting the ground. Now this is peaceful and relaxing! Sam thought to himself watching the snow falling outside the window, feeling all his thoughts and feelings slipping slowly away.
Sam snapped back into reality as he heard what Hitame said. "I don't know what you're going through Hit, but I ensure you that you're not helpless, although you may feel like that but you can't help everyone Hit."said Sam honestly. " If you don't mind me asking, why you feel that way? "Sam asked her softly but curiously. Sam chuckled. " Ok I won't call you that anymore I promise, and are you ok? " Sam asked her his emerald eyes with worry in them. Sam saw that she was a little nervous about something and seemed like she wanted a escape route, he honestly didn't blame her, he basically put her on the spot about asking what she meant. Although he was sure that she wasn't going to open up to him like she used to, after all she probably hated him and didn't want to see him,
Sam looked at her and sighed. " If you want to leave just go, I'm not stopping you from leaving if you want to leave, I never have and I never will. "said Sam softly but honestly. Drinking down his butterbeer, he looked at her before giving her a weak smile before ordering another butterbeer. He honestly wanted a firewhiskey, but he knew that if he had that, he was probably going to get drunk off it. He didn't want that, not right now, even if he had so many thoughts in his head he needed to stay focus for Maura and his friends. He needed to be strong for his friends even when they weren't, they needed him, he couldn't be losing it when they needed him.
Sam didn't know anything about what happened to Hitame, Ryo didn't tell him anything about Hitame, so Sam had no idea what was going on. Only thing that he knew was what was going on between him and Maura, he didn't know anything else besides that. Sam really didn't talk to Ryo that much anymore, since Maura's accident and sending her to St. Mungo's, they seemed to be all drifting apart. People might think that he and Ryo talked to each other about everything, to be honest they never really have a close relationship, they were more like Co workers and friends because he was Maura's best friend. He was never best friends with Ryo, he really didn't know what he was, but it sure wasn't best friends or anything like that.
Sam looked at her and nodded. " Yeah I've talked to him, but not lately. "said Sam honestly but honestly. " Although it just been on how him and Maura were and all that, other than that we don't talk about much, I haven't talked to him in a while. " said Sam honestly. " I been busy trying to find Sarah and helping Maura, Ciara is my god daughter so I'll do anything to help her and Maura. " said Sam softly but honestly. Sam was always there for Maura along with Sophia, but him and Sophia were trying to help both of them as well, but they never gotten them together due to them fight again. Sam sighed to himself as he ran his hand through his hair again before taking a drink of his butterbeer, he just wanted things to go back to the way they were, but he knew that it may never be the same way again.
