I'm Simon, 21 years old and a Harry Potter & roleplaying fan. I've been participating in forum rp's for some 7 years now and after a pretty long break I'm ready to delve into one again. I'm in university so my posting pattern can be a bit irregular but I'll make sure nobody will have to wait for too long. Apart from that I have 2 cats and I guess that covers just about everything worth mentioning. If there's anything else you guys want to know just ask.

Now, for character creation I've already decided on going with a student but I haven't really decided on anything specific so far. I was wondering which year would allow me to get involved the easiest? (If the sidebar's any indication that means 1-5 but that's still a pretty broad spectrum )

I'm Amy or Eli or whatever you want to call me. I'm one of the admins here and more of a character-orientated admin, I suppose. So I'm a kind of a useful go-to for stuff like that! Also other bits and bobs. Yep! So, welcome! If you need anything at all just let me or one of the other admins know and we'll be delighted to help.

Right, so. I mean, honestly... you're more likely to get some joy immediately if you take a slightly older character. I find fifth year is a nice place to sort of start cause they're not really young but they're not going to graduate any time soon, either. However! We do have quite a few first years kicking around now so there is that option available. There is plottage to be had! (:

If you want a little bit of sort of ... automatic - I don't know if that's the right word to use but hey - plotting then it might be worth checking out the canons and having a word with some of those who have them and maybe pick up a sibling. That'd be even quicker. But whatever you like! The options are endless.

I'm Krissu aka Kissu aka Kris aka Kiss. What ever you like to call me. Mostly here I go by Krissu or Kris. Anyways I have students in every year so I could offer you someone in every year. Also I have couple of characters who need siblings. You can pick them up if you want.

Basically you should go for year what you feel to rp the best. You can always find people with who to rp. Everyone basucally would like to help you out with it.

I also would like to see already with what you will come up with.
