Getting supplies

Upon walking into Diagon Alley Lilyanya knew what she needed for when her niece came to her house that day. She was gonna get sweets as well as some presents for her niece knowing that the girl loved book and anything sweet. Shopping list in hand Lilyanya walked into the sweets shop grabbing a large amount of sweets for her niece as well as some for her brother. Knowing full well that she was spoiling the girl she didn't care and grinned even more as she looked at everything. The skies were cloudy today so it was safe for Lilyanya to go today with out her cloak though she kept it with her. After getting burned once before she never forgot her cloak ever again, she didn't trust the weather.

Lilyanya tried to remember which place had book she looked down at her list crossing off a few things as she walked. Before she knew it she almost ran right into someone, she dropped her cloak which fell with a metallic clang. "Oh! I'm so sorry, I should have been looking where i was going." She said as she picked her cloak but the metal flask fell out of the pocket and clanged against the ground. Sighing softly she bent to pick it up but realized that it was slightly cracked at the top and it's contents were dripping slowly to the ground. "Oh no." Lilyanya said pulling out her wand and fixing her flask but not knowing what to do with the spilled mess on the ground. "Augamenti." She watched as the contents were swept away with water and down to a drainage pipe.

Actually Estella was not the type of person who would go and buy herself a bunch of sweets, but today was a different day.
It had been a busy morning; some monsters acted oddly and as she had been the only one present in the office by that unfortunate early hour, she was summoned to deal with the creatures on her own. Although she was considered a professional, it still took some time and effort to calm the things down and make them run smoothly.

After that, however, the Minstry worker was tired and she needed somehow to refill her vial of energy and as she was not a fan of coffee, Estella decided to go and get some sugar. That should cheer her mood and get her body prepared for the rest of the day.

Her eyes were half closed as she walked around in the shop, gathering some odd candy which she had never seen and probably would had never bought if it were not for today. One of the bags was full of chocolate candy with different fillings and the other one was filled with some she had only seen on the Hogwarts Express. Who knew, maybe one of these candies tasted like pepper.

She was awakened by a painful and loud collision in which she almost fell. Surprised, she looked at the young woman who had run into her and Estella sighed. "Its okay," she reassured the woman, and was about to repeat her words when she saw the liquid leaking from the bottle. "Let me..." she began, but the other one was faster and the thing was fixed soon.

"Yeah... Better look around next time... Don't want to break all the things here." She said awkwardly.

Lilyanya looked up at the woman smiled shyly, "Yeah I'm not the most coordinated person here." She quickly noticed that the sun was starting to show through the clouds and her eyes got huge. "Oh no not now," She quickly threw the cloak around her shoulders then over her head with movements that only a vampire could do. Her gloves were the next things to go on, she was done by the time the sun hit her knowing that the woman in front of her would know. The sun was gone as quickly as it had come and she threw back her hood after the sun was safely behind the clouds. "Please don't say anything, the last thing i wanna do is attract attention from anyone, I am only here to shop nothing more." Lilyanya said as she looked at the woman.

She always had a plan when it came to the sun coming out on a sunny day but being that she was in the middle of the street there wasn't anything that she could do. She knew that she would now have to travel closer to the shops in order to avoid this from happening again. Lilyanya looked at the woman with that was in front of her and wondered if she would scream vampire or keep quiet about what she was. She didn't want to have to run away if the woman screamed it because she hated being what she was but there was no other option.

Odd behaviour was nothing serious. Really, she worked in the Ministry of Magic and her area of expertice were monsters. But Estella had to admit that when the woman's movements became fast, it certainly got her curiosity. Tilting her head, she observed the clumsy lady quietly, thinking her own thoughts now. She knew right away who this was, no more hints were needed. It only surprised her that she had not guessed it right away, though then again they had only met and that through a collision.

"Oh," she muttered, shaking her head. Revealing her identity was not her thing anyway. If the vampire wanted people to know what she truly was, Estella believed she would do something else rather than pull the cloth over her head. She chuckled quietly and rolled her eyes. Right. Though for a vampire she was relatively clumsy, as if she was still a human with bad cordination.

What was more amusing though, was the fact that the vampire seemed nervous. It was not that Estella would start throwing garlic or holy water at her, which made the minstry worker chuckle even louder.

"Calm down." She was not on a rampage so there was no reason for Estella to worry either. "I am Estella."

Lilyanya's eyes flicked around to see if anyone had seen her movements when the sun came out. Seeing that no one was looking at her like she was a monster or worse she breathed a sigh of relief. Looking at the woman in front of her trying to decide whether or not this woman was a friend or someone to be wary of. She didn't know if the woman might be someone who hunted those like her or she was simply just another witch there. Being still unable to control her fast movements she might appear like a clumsy human who couldn't seem to stay upright. Hearing her chuckle Lilyanya's hair stood on end wondering what she was plotting in her head or if she was laughing at her she couldn't decide.

Lilyanya looked at Estella and said, "My name's Lilyanya. Why are you laughing? Is there something amusing to you about this?" She couldn't quite understand Estella's reasoning about laughing while standing in front of a vampire whom Estella didn't know. Then it hit her like a brick wall, "Your from the ministry aren't you?" She asked looking at the woman. "I haven't done anything wrong, I've obeyed the law and I keep my interactions with humans to a minimum." A wave of panic hit her like a tidal wave, if this woman would laugh in front a vampire she had to be in the ministry.

It was amusing to watch how the vampire acted suddenly so cautious. Estella said nothing but responded to her look, eyes glimmering from amusement and curiosity. She had seen vampires in real life, she was even working with some which was already funny because they hunted monsters together, but she made no comments on that. The witch hated prejudice and judging.

"You are funny," she responded almost immediately. "You are so afraid even though I should be the one who should be peeing my pants after realizing what you are. Stand straight and hold your chin high, that's my motto. My name is Estella by the way." She reached out her hand but shrugged when the vampire made this cold statement as if this was something really bad. She did not work in a dirt after all, did she! Many men and women wanted her job.

Estella pulled her hand away when Lilyanya began explaining herself and she burst into another hearty laughter. "I am not here to arrest you or anything. I am here to buy some candy. And it is good to know that you are a good vampire. Yes, spread the word and lets just hope that everyone else will be as good as you, right?

Anyhow... I never thought I would see your kind in a candy store. Never even imagined that your kind is fond of sweets. You learn something new every day, eh?"

Lilyanya looked at her when she laughed and realized she was being paranoid. "Well trust me you'd be one of the first I've met in a while that didn't want to kill me. It's nice to meet you Estella, you can just call me Anya. I'm sorry I kinda went a little loopy most of the time I don't meet a lot of humans who want to seen with something like me. Most of the time they think I'm after their blood," She shakes her head in disgust as she adjusted the bags she was carrying. "Most of the time they tend to steer clear of someone who constantly has a hood pulled over their face."

"Oh this isn't for me, my niece is coming over to my house tonight because her dad has to work late. I take care of her when my brother has to work late or go into work early. It gives my parents a break when they need one since they are the ones who watch her the most. Though I heard from someone that there are blood flavored lollipops that might be what vampires like." Anya said as she looked at the woman knowing she revealed a little too much about herself. "I hope there are more like me that are good like myself at least one can hope so right? I mean there can't just be me, well i can't say that I've actually looked in the five years I've been turned."
