What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. GENERAL APPEARANCE: Winston wears black. He refuses to include any other color on his person. He stands at an average height compared to other fifteen-year-olds. He has a slight athletic build to him. His eyes are a nice, light shade of brown. His hair is a natural shiny black. Winston has a small tattoo on the wrist of his left arm displaying three daggers. At times, he has a pale color to his skin, due to having vampire blood. He cannot stay in sunlight for more than ten hours. (It's five for normal vampires so I figured I'd just double it since he's a half-vampire). When reading he wears glasses, but at any other time, he will not be seen wearing them. He is half Japanese and half English.

PERSONALITY: Winston is a very hurt person. He was abandoned by his father before his birth. He has never met his father but knows of him due to his father's involvement with the Death Eaters. One day, he wishes to make his father very proud of him by any means possible. Winston has always longed to meet his father and have his father care about him. He has deep care and respect for his mother. He values her greatly and would kill someone before letting harm come to her. After all, she is the only person he truly has left in his family. Winston is also emotionally scarred from his sister's death. It was as if a part of him died when she died. He harbors a intense hatred for his step-father. His step-father is a drunken, unemployed loser who serves no purpose in life from Winston's point of view. Winston may appear as a harsh, cold individual, but on the inside, he is just a soul crying out for help.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Winston had an unstable childhood. He was abandoned by his father before his birth, and therefore had never met him. His mother took care of him and his sister, Alaska. He had gotten his father's surname and Alaska received his mother's, deeming she would not give her second child the surname of a father that was not there. Winston's mother took very good care of her two children. He spent most of his childhood wondering why his father did not want him. It consumed his time and his ability to make friends.

Hogwarts Years: His day going to Hogwarts were the best. When the sorting hat rested on his head, he closed his eyes. It thought for a moment, rambling pointless information. At the end of the longest minute of his life, he took his seat with the Slytherins. He felt very good to have people clap for him and accept him as one of their own. He finally began to get himself acquainted with other people, making minor friends along the way. Eventually, he learned of his father and how he was a Death Eater. Winston then pursued recognition from his father by joining the Dark Followers. One day, he hopes to meet Lorcan D'Eath, and with him, his approval of him. But, he had received a letter one morning from his mother. She and Alaska had been in a car accident. But only his mother lived. That news tore Winston apart and gave him an even more unstable personality.

Hey, we've got a good app going here thus far! There are a few bits that need to be tweaked first, though.

Can I have a little bit more for appearance - perhaps any scars, piercings, tattoos, etc. to bulk it out a bit?

Some more traits would be fantabulous. Whilst Winston is shaping up to be interesting, he's too bogged down with negative traits and though that'll be a big bit of his personality - being upset, etc. - he needs to have redeeming features. So, he loves his mother therefore he must be caring, devoted and other things that make him more rounded. You touched upon it in the general section but I need it a bit more obvious in the traits section.

Some more habits would be fab! Maybe negate the biting of lips. It's a bit cliche now on PA. Razz

Only thing I'd say needs to be changed is that his mother was affected by the marriage laws. If she's Muggle, she wouldn't have been.

Apart from that, we're good to go!
