Background: Her parents are American expatriots, and decided to set up house in England after Paradigm's birth. She was so named because of the confusion of where to settle down and have children.
Short Roleplay:
Perry lay on her bed, her feet propped up on the wall. In her hand, one of her guilty pleasures--trashy romance novels. Her calico cat, Josie, lay purring on her chest as she idly turned pages. Though she had homework to do (somewhere around two sheaves of parchment left to write), she had stopped to indulge herself in some chick-lit. She prayed in the back of her mind that Ma had sent her that Quick Quotes Quill that she'd asked for when school started. That would fascilitate her note-taking to the nth degree! No such luck though, as a letter from Ma and Daddy said, "Perry-Kitten...you know that we don't condone the use of those things. Write it yourself. Lots of love, Ma and Daddy." Perry made a disgusted face at the though and put her book down. She shifted and turned her hands' attention to the spoiled cat on her chest. She smiled, stroking it behind the ears affectionately. "You'd buy me a quill, wouldn't'cha Josie...?" Her voice held a slightly southern lilt, carried by Josie's purring on the near-silent air. She shifted a now-aggravated cat off of her lap and stood up to stretch. "I'm gonna go eat, Josie...I'll see you later--be good!" With that, she pulled her robe off of the footboard, sliding it on, before heading out the door.~
