Escape From England

Amelia Macmillan ran away from England during Easter break and headed to Switzerland to live with her mother's friend, Charlotte Asper. Charlotte is a Swiss wandmaker but is also a known practitioner of the Dark Arts. Amelia finished her sixth year homeschooling with Charlotte. Unsure of her future schooling Amelia debates if she should try to go back to Hogwarts or to go to Beauxbatons.

Amelia is going off the deep end and isn't really supporting anyone anymore. She doesn't believe in the Ministry, she's lost hope for the Order, and she would never join the Death Eaters. So whatever she is doing in Switzerland, one can assume it's not legal.

Note to future plotting: I don't know what the Ministry is doing about Amelia running away but eventually they will have to acknowledge her plans as they get bigger.

So here a the options for plots:

Charlotte is a Swiss wandmaker in recent years is starting to make it big. She is a known practitioner of the Dark Arts and doesn't hide it. She is willing to fight and even kill anyone to protect Amelia, who reminds her a lot of her daughter and because of a commitment she made to Susan Bones many years ago. She doesn't have many friends because well she is manipulative and uses them when she needs them.

Augustus Rookwood could potentially be a good business rival for Charlotte.

Perhaps Amelia and Isadora could meet and we could see how they gel?

For Charlotte sounds good, she might get a bit ugly with Augustus just because that is who she is. I'm not sure how they'd met though. Charlotte isn't going to parade herself in Diagon Alley sheltering a person on the run from English Ministry of Magic.

I'm not completely sure how Amelia would meet Isadora while on the run from the Ministry but they could meet somewhere internationally. Amelia isn't going to go into U.K.

Is there anyone who could get word to Jack about Amelia? As Head of the Order, she may be able to talk to her.
