Sickness and surprises

Shane usually never gotten sick during the spring time, but here he was with a fever and cold. Although no one knew of his cold but him, he wasn't going to let a silly cold bring him down. Letting out a cough, Shane walked down the crowded street towards the Three Broomsticks to get a butterbeer to calm his throat. If Olivia found out she was sick, she'll go straight into nurse mode and made him rest. He found it incredibly annoying, but he did have to admit she made one sexy and hot nurse.

Shane remembered the last time he was sick on Valentines Day, she made him stay inside while she brought him soup and raspberry tea. Although Shane was going to hide it from her as much as he could, but she knew Shane to well. He didn't know how, but she always knew when he was sick. Shane remembered her saying his eyes are duller and don't sparkle as much when he's sick. Shane didn't know about that, but he didn't argue.

Walking into the crowded pub, he headed towards his normal spot but stopped when he saw a beautiful red head there crying. Seeing Olivia cry his heart stop, for he hated to see her cry. Walking over towards her, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her neck softly. " Hey Beautiful, why are you crying?"Shane asked her softly before he took a seat beside her pulling her into his arms. She looked to be crying for hours and seemed to be waiting for him to arrive.

" I'm sorry if I kept you waiting, I didn't know you wanted to meet me here. " said Shane softly. Even though she was crying her eyes out for some reason, she still looked beautiful to him. " Livi please tell me what's wrong baby, I hate seeing you like this. " said Shane softly. Holding her close to him he ran his hands through her hair comforting her as much as he could. "If it's anything I did I'm sorry. " said Shane softly but honestly.

What was she going to do? How was she doing to do this? Olivia didn't know the first thing of how to do this stuff. She didn't know how to take care of a child. That chance had been taken for her when Lily was taken away from her almost two years ago. She often wondered what had happened to her daughter, and now.. With this.. She couldn't stop the year that began to roll down her cheeks.

the first thing you have to do is tell Shane.

Shane.. That's right.. He had to know. He had to know that she.. She was pregnant. And that it was his child. He didn't know exactly how to do it though. She wasn't sure how he would react either, maybe not as bad as Marcus had. But that didn't mean she wasn't scared. Shane wouldn't leave her at least. He wouldn't walk away saying the child wasn't his, exactly like Marcus had.

Olivia shook her head as she placed it on the table, covering it with her arms as she cried. She went to Hogsmeade early that day, to think, and since he knew Shane would eventually appear, to wait for him. She'd hoped to have dried her tears before he arrived but she was wrong. She was still crying and she hadn't noticed when Shane had arrived until she ears his voice.

The Werewolf girl looked at him with tears in her eyes and somewhat blurry vision. He pulled her to him and immediately felt calmer but then she remembered she had to tell him, and she pushed away from him. "Shane.. I have to tell you something.." She said softly. Her hands were shaking and she could tell that the rest of her body probably was too. She was so scared and nervous, she just really hoped he wouldn't take it bad..

Shane looked at her with a worried expression as she pulled away from him. It wasn't like her to pull away from him, even when she was as upset as this. Shane's eyes became even more worried when she told him she had something to tell him. " What is it Livi?"Shane asked her softly hating to see her so shaken up. " Whatever it is Livi, we'll get through it like we always do. " said Shane softly.

Shane wondered what it was that made her so upset like this all the sudden. It couldn't be her parents not liking him, her parents thought the world of him. They trusted and loved him, they knew he would never hurt their daughter. Of course Shane had to prove he was worthy, but over time they trusted him. If it wasn't her parents, the who could it be or what could it be?

Shane wanted nothing more than to hold him in his arms and comfort her, but she seemed to want to get this off her chest. Whatever it was that she had to tell him that is, but it was honestly scaring him. It was breaking his heart to see her like this, he haven't seen her like this since he met her. " Livi please calm down baby, you're scaring me."said Shane softly but honestly. He hoped she'll calm down, but he didn't see it happening she was clearly upset.

She couldn't do it.

Every time she opened her mouth to say something, more sobs took the place of her words and she didn't know what to do. She wanted to tell him, she wanted to be happy about it, but she was scared. She didn't know why she was having such a hard time coping with the news she had received. It was just really hard and if she was going to be honest, she did know.

She didn't want this baby taken away from her like Lily was. She didn't want another one of her children to be ripped from her hands and be taken away from her again. She wouldn't be able to handle it happening a second time. But right now wasn't the time to think about things like that. Right now was that time to tell Shane, her husband that she was pregnant. That she was expecting a baby, a baby that was hers and his.

He had a right to know. Even if she was scared of what could happen in the future after the baby was born, he had to know that she was pregnant with his baby. She finally mustered up the strength to be able to speak coherently and she took a deep breath. "I.. I need to tell you that.." her voice cracked, "I.. I'm pregnant Shane.." she said, with fresh tears springing to her eyes. "I don't want you to think that I'm crying because I'm upset that I'm pregnant. That's not it at all. I'm just emotional right now.." she lied, looking down at her hands.

Shane looked at her shocked for a minute, before he shook his head regaining himself. "Oh my gosh, Livi we're having a baby? that's fantastic!"said Shane kissing her softly on the lips. Seeing that she was emotional and knowing why, Shane looked at her and sighed. " Livi you don't have to worry about me leaving order losing the baby, that's not going to happen. " said Shane softly. He wasn't going to leave her like her ex boyfriend did when she was pregnant.

" Livi love look at me, I'm going to be here for you and the baby no matter what."said Shane softly. " That prick that left you didn't know what he was missing Livi, you're beautiful and smart and I love you everything about you. " said Shane smiling at her. " I'll even love you when you don't think you're beautiful and you're cranky as hell and you push me away, and then cry and apologize a few minutes later. "said Shane softly. " You can do anything and everything to me, but I'm not going anywhere!"said Shane. " I'm yours Livi and our baby father, and I'm so happy that we're having a baby. " said Shane.

Shane knew he probably made her cry due to her being emotional but he meant every word he said. "So... I'm guessing our fun on our six month anniversary lead to this wonderful surprise?"Shane asked her smiling. It had to be, Shane couldn't remember any other time. Although that night was great, he sure didn't regret it. Taking her into his arms, he hugged her. " It'll be ok Livi love, we'll get through this. "said Shane softly before kissing her forehead.

[OOC: I'm going based on when the threads took place and everything okay? So Liv is five weeks along.]

Olivia nodded slowly when Shane asked if their six month anniversary was the cause of her pregnancy. That was the only time she had allowed him to come near her that way. It was the first sign she'd showed him about actually trusting him enough that her fear of guys didn't matter when she was around him.

A sudden feeling of guilt went through her and she lowered her gaze. "Yeah, that had to have been it.. Since I'm about five weeks along.." she told him softly. She was sure that he wouldn't be happy that she hadn't told him about her pregnancy sooner, but she really couldn't. She hadn't known until a couple weeks ago and at that time she had been too afraid of what he would say to tell him anything.

He couldn't blame her for being scared, and she knew that he wouldn't say anything bad to her about it. Even if he was probably sad that she didn't say anything to him.

"Shane.. I love you.." she said softly, wiping tears from her eyes. She had been so scared that it would be the same as when she had told Marcus, but she was so glad that she had been wrong. It was different. Shane wasn't Marcus, and she had kind of forgotten that when she had found out that she was expecting a baby.

She suddenly remembered that she knew the baby's gender and she smiled slightly, looking at him. "Do you want to know what gender the baby is?" she asked, gently placing a hand on her stomach.

Shane was surprised that she was that far along, but he understood that she was scared to tell him. "I wish you would of told me sooner Livi, but I understand that you were scared. " said Shane softly. " Just remember that I'm not him Livi, and never will be. " said Shane. " You don't have to be scared, I'm not going to leave you. " said Shane softly holding her closer to him. Shane knew that she was scared, but Shane wasn't going to leave her or the baby.

" Hey there enough with the baby, you're going to get wrinkles on that beautiful face of yours. " said Shane in a playful manner. "I love you to Livi, I will always love you don't ever think that I won't. "said Shane softly. " Nothing will ever stop me from loving you, not even death itself. "said Shane kissing her on the forehead. " Although I am a bit nervous about what you're parents will think of me now. " said Shane honestly. " I don't want them to think badly of me, and think I'm another him. " said Shane softly.

When's she asked if he wanted to know the gender of the baby he smiled. " Well... of course I want to know what my beautiful wife is carrying!"said Shane softly. " You don't have any other surprise do you?"Shane asked her softly. " You're not having twins or anything are you?"Shane asked her. " Cause if you are I might faint, just warning you!"said Shane playing with her. Of course she knew that he was playing with her, he sometimes did this to her, but she always played back.
