Hogwarts needed a pick me up. One big cheering charm was in need to restore the happiness the castle once held, however perhaps even a cheering charm wouldn't suffice. With the half breeds being banned from the school and a new, mysterious Headmistress, things seemed to have change. The castle was quieter for one and the vibe had gone. By restarting the charms club that had ended before the Christmas break Amelia hoped it would bring with it the joy that once thrived within the four walls of Hogwarts.
Earlier that week the Professor had placed a bulletin in each of the common rooms inviting all students. If this had been a duelling club that wouldn't have been the best idea, duelling was popular and if charms received the same attention then Amelia would be requesting a larger classroom. None the less if as little as two students came Professor Cooper would do her best to make the hour they had as fun as possible.
From the window she could see the clock tower, it's glass face staring down over the class. The little hand reached eleven just as the large struck twelve. The sound of twelve bells rang in the bell tower besides, not that Amelia listened for someone had entered the classroom.
'Good morning.' The professor greeted, pushing her lips into a slight smile. It was hard for her smile. For the past five years Amelia had been forcing a smile but the truth was she wasn't smiling inside. Toby had been missing, taken by werewolves, believed to be dead. Of course fate presented an unexpected miracle and Amelia was reunited with her son bringing with it a natural smile. However her smile hadn't last long. Four months. Four months later Hallie had lost her leg and hadn't been the same since. At least Toby was with her at home, safe. Without a leg she could hardly get far and Amelia was keeping that line of thought that her daughter was protected from danger.
