This can't be the end can it?

Medusa was still trying to process what was happening, but it all seemed to be going so quickly she didn't have time to process it all. She couldn't believe that this was happening right before her very eyes, she never thought that Hogwarts would ban Half-bloods from coming to Hogwarts. But then again they ministry wanted MORE half-bloods so getting them out of the way would make room for MORE half-bloods. Although it wasn't fair though, there were so many half-blood that had made Hogwarts there home or second home, to Medusa it was her second home where she felt she fitted in at. Now she was going to go back home never getting the chance to expand her magical abilities due to this stupid decree!

Medusa was going to her favorite places around Hogwarts saying her last goodbye to everything she came to love, her last and final stop was where she was at now, the great lake. So many memories at this lake, from the good to the bad she had it all with Maura and the guys and Hitame her best friend. Hitame was the only one who understood her besides Katie, she also came from a rough background along with Medusa. Out of everyone Medusa was going to miss Hitame the most, she was her best friend and they been through so much together. It made her sad that she wasn't going to see her best friend anymore.

Staring at the lake with tears rolling down her face, Medusa took a rock and threw it angrily into the lake. "Damn you ministry! why do you have to ruin our lives?!?" Medusa asked angrily as she cried. "Your taking the one thing I love away from me as well as the one person I consider my sister!"said Medusa shaking. As she fell to her knees, Medusa started shaking due to crying so much.

Medusa's train was leaving tomorrow due to so many half-bloods that was leaving Hogwarts forever. "What is the world coming to?"Medusa asked herself sighing as she wiped her tears as new ones came. Looking at the lake she whispered. "I'll miss here the most, this is where me and Hitame first met."said Medusa smiling weakly at the memory. Medusa remembered it as if it was yesterday, Medusa was getting teased by a group of third year Ravenclaws and Hitame who was by the lake stood up for her. Medusa was only a first year at Hogwarts at the time, so everyone was telling her she didn't belong in Ravenclaw she was more a Hufflepuff which was the loser house. Although Maura thought that until she met Maura and she told her differently.

Hearing footsteps coming down the lake, she didn't even have to look to see who it was, for she already knew. She told Hitame to meet her by the lake one last and final time before she said her goodbye. Getting up from her knees she ran towards her and hugged her. "This can't be the end right Hitty?"Medusa asked her softly. She didn't want this to be the end, but sadly it was for the both of them. Medusa and Hitame both knew it, even if they didn't want to admit it.

"It isn't the end. I promise Dessa."

The words just flowed out of her mouth as she looked at her best friend who was being taken away from her because of the stupid new decrees. Headmaster Rookwood was no longer there and the new Headmistress was the cause of these things, she was sure of it. Rookwood might not have been the best Headmaster but he didn't limit who could come into Hogwarts, like Salazar Slytherin tried to do when the school was first founded.

She refused to believe that these stupid decrees were going to stay for long. There was no way they would, it just couldn't happen. And if it did, then it was sure as hell that she would not be graduating from a school who was just a shadow of the school who had given her so much comfort when she first arrived. Especially since she had thought she was a muggleborn when she first got there.

Halfbloods and Muggleborns were almost the same. One just had more magical capabilities than the other, at least that was what she was taught but she could be wrong. Still though, she was not going to stay in a school where they were banned, especially when her best friend was a Halfblood. "I can tell you one thing though Dessa. If you really have to leave, you aren't going alone. I'm going with you. I won't stay here in a school that isn't the one I came to a few years ago." she told the Ravenclaw.

"I was put in Gryffindor for a reason. I'm stubborn as hell and I won't stay put and let this happen just like that. I'm sure everyone else will go too, even if they don't have to." she saw the tears in Dessa's eyes and reached out to wipe them away. "Don't cry Dessa, this decree won't be here long. I know it won't. We'll all be back in Hogwarts together before you know it." she said softly, giving the girl a gentle smile.

There was no way anyone who loved the school the way it was was going to give up without a fight. She wasn't. She knew that Ryo wasn't and Olivia wasn't going to either. None of her friends would give up without a fight, even if there weren't many of them. She clenched her hands into fists and decided that even if she had to face the Ministry, even though she was just a 'little girl' to them, she was going to fight. She wasn't going to let this happen, she just had to figure out what she was going to do.

Medusa looked at Hitame and gave her a weak smile. "Don't throw your education away for me Hitty, become the best damn witch you can and rub it in their damn faces!"said Medusa. "Although your right Hitty, it's not the same Hogwarts I remember coming to!"said Medusa softly. Medusa might of not been here that long, but when she came here it wasn't a living hell hole like it was now. If she didn't know it was Hogwarts, Medusa would think it was a whole enough school based on how much it changed over the years.

Medusa chuckled at Hitame's reply. She always knew how to make her laugh when she was down. "I know quite a bit of people are fighting against it, Maura and Ryo are as well as Sophia."said Medusa softly. There were so many people that were fighting against this, she had a feeling that these stupid decrees wouldn't last long. "As long as we have each other, that's something worth fighting for!"said Medusa hugging Hitame.

Medusa knew that there was surprisingly quite a bit of pure-bloods that was upset about the half-bloods leaving Hogwarts. But Medusa knew there was some that was going along with this decree making it to where it was only Pure-bloods in Hogwarts. "Do you think they'll make it to where only Pure-bloods go here Hitty?"Medusa asked her softly. So many pure-blood families wanted that for ages, but was it really going to happen soon? Medusa wouldn't be surprise that wouldn't happen sooner or later.
