Potter’s Army is a roleplaying site that’s been alive and active for nearly eight years now. The plot is set in an Alternate Universe where Lord Voldemort is dead, but Harry Potter went missing and is presumed dead as well. The factions continue to fight, Hogwarts educates the next generation of witches and wizards, and the Ministry of Magic does its best to hold everything together.
Beginners are sure to find a welcoming and helpful community, and all levels of writers are accepted and encouraged to join. PA is a brilliant place to experience and explore the Harry Potter universe with canon and original characters of your own.
We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

*Snazzy theme music plays, and the camera pans over the studio audience, eventually returning to Keith and Sandra*

*Screen fades to black, then fades in on two men standing on a large stage.*

I am Thaorson Elldir Jr and I am your co-host for tonight. Apparently our producer and writer was too lazy to come up with a cool intro so he stole the intro of Shipper on Deck.
Robert Lupin: That sounds like something he'd do. I am Robert Lupin, your other co-host for the evening. Please don't make a mess, and enjoy the show.
Thaor Jr.: You know, sometimes while creeping on threads, I find really strange characters.
Robert: Creeping on threads?
