Probably Slytherin's resourcefulness, quick wit, ability to maneuver carefully, etc. If not that, it would be the hard work and loyalty of a Hufflepuff.

What did your character want to be when they grew up as a child?

This is the big question isn't it? I don't think Kat has ever had too many plans for the future and I'm assuming that she has always seen herself in a housewife role similar to her mother (perhaps with just a smaller home). She's always loved art but she's never considered it as something she could "be".

If your character was a tree, what kind of tree would they be? (or alternatively, does your character have a favorite tree?)

She'd probably be a big redwood. A fixture, looming... and red. lol

Selwyn was supposed to be far different from how he ended up. Did your character have a plan, and if so how did they change?

It works.

Claire was supposed to be much more relaxed, much younger and more free-spirited. She's very uptight, restrained, and sad.

Which AU world would you most enjoy for your character?

By total coincidence, the muggle branch of Selwyn's family got massacred in 1688. So that would be interesting.

If your character was a rock star, what would their band be called or what would their stage name be?

She'd probably try to have something badass like Phoenix Rising or something, and she'd go by Jack D.

What's a skill your character wishes they had but never acquired?

Leadership.

Which is sort of ridiculous for a person who was Head Girl in her time, but the truth is the truth, even if it isn't self-acknowledged. Being a lawyer, she's obviously fairly good at public speaking, very persuasive, gives off an air of complete competence. She'd probably make an effective peacetimes Minister. But if there was war, or destruction, in times of need......she can't rally people to her. She doesn't inspire faith, whether it be for the good or bad cause. But she really wants it.
