1. She has only cried a small handful of times in her life. Likely strategically or when caught particularly unawares.
2. The best way to keep her invested in something is to get her to care, and the best way to do that is to hold her interest. Interest alone is rarely enough, as it is not easily won and easily lost, but once she actually cares it's hard for her to detach herself.
3. Phaedra is capable of demonstrating strong loyalty to those she feels are deserving of it. Interestingly, though she likes to think of herself as choosing her loyalties to others based on their merits, she has less control over this than she thinks, and at times the dedication she feels is inexplicable, unwarranted, and rather cumbersome. She tells herself she is wholly in control, however, no matter how untrue it might be.
4. Her discontent over the last four years has in part been caused by boredom and a sense of emptiness that she attributes to being absent from the society she was a part of for so long. In reality, this is simply a subconscious placeholder for her potions work and family, which is what she really longs for. She is unable or unwilling to recognise this.
5. Although Phaedra likes to think of herself as being naturally calm and unruffled, much of her nature is a result of her lifestyle and the privileges attached. Her behaviour is directly affected by her surroundings, and removed from the luxury of her usual comforts, she’s not nearly as well-behaved or mild-mannered as she likes to think she is. She definitely doesn’t realise this yet.
6. She possesses a remarkable amount of bravery for a Slytherin. She usually acts out of self-interest, and the risks she takes are calculated, but she rarely balks at something out of fear alone. In this sense there is something of a Gryffindor in her, which was the historical house of the Rosiers until the last century.
7. She always smells nice. A warm, sweet, light smell that reminds her of balmy summer nights. Probably the warmest thing about her.
