Coming back to life!!

~Day 1~
Any single mother out there would know what a living room would look like just after putting the kids down for a nap and not having the time to clean it up until afterwards. Samantha was just so tired though that she decided to leave it the way it was. Wearing her pink short sleeved shirt with the words "Foxy" on it and some black sweat pants, she sat on the couch and propped her black sandled feet on to the coffee table to relax for a minute. At that moment she remembered that she wanted to write a letter to her friend Andrew. She hadn't seen him in a while and wanted to see how he was doing. So she quickly found some paper and a quill and jotted down for him to come over when he could then gave it to her owl and watch him fly out the window. She then started to clean up the room just in case he was coming sooner then she thought.

Andrew just gotten home after a long day at St.Mungo's hospital. Andrew loved what he did, and he loved working with his best friend Sophia even if she was sort of his boss in a way. A a hour of so of relaxing Andrew seen a owl fly into his open window. Taking a second to realize who's owl his was, he raised his eyebrows before opening the letter. Smiling as he read the letter Andrew thought of Samantha's place and apperated.

Appearing in a dark alleyway a block from her house Andrew walked out of the alleyway heading towards Samantha's house. After walking a minute or so, he finally reached her house. Knocking on the door his blue eyes wondered around the place for a minute. He was wearing a plaid shirt sleeve shirt that was unbuttoned with blue jeans and black converses. His hair was styled in a messy hair do style he alwasy liked.

After Samantha had sent off the letter, she cleaned up the house real quick then went to her bedroom to changer her clothes into something more fitting for company. She decided to put on a black button up short sleeve shirt and some blue jean pants with some slip on black shoes. Right as she finished getting dressed she hear a knock at the door. She felt relief when she remembered that she had put a silent charm on the kids bedroom just in case of these situations.

She ran to the door and opened it up normally. She smiled at Andrew in a friendly way, then gave him a friendly hug. "Hey Andrew, it's nice to see you again. Come on in." Samantha said as she stepped out of the way so that he could walk in to the house.

"Nice to see you can to Sammy and thanks!"said Andrew walking into the house.  "Been awhile since I been in here, still looks the same!"said Andrew smiling.  "So... how you been?"Andrew asked her softly taking a seat on the couch.  His blue eyes wondering around the house he noticed there was a couple of new things but there was a couple of old things like a picture or her and Sophia on the mentle above the fireplace.  "Wow... this picture is old."said Andrew chuckling.

Once Andrew walked into the house, she closed and locked the door behind him then showed him to the living room. Sammy sat on the couch while Andrew walked over to the fireplace mantle. "Oh I've been doing ok. Trying my best to take care of the kids while I deal with this stupid medicine I have to take and morn over James." Sammy said, trying to hold back a tear so Andrew wouldn't see. Sammy wanted to make this a happy visit.

Sammy smiled remembering the day that the picture in Andrews hands was taken. "Yeah. It is an old picture. It was taken at one of the dances while we were still in school. That was a happy time." Sammy said holding the happiness of that memory in her mind. "Make your self at home." Sammy said patting the couch beside herself. "So what's been going on with you?" Sammy asked him wanting to focus on the future and forget the past.

"Don't mourn over him Sammy, it's own his fault he ended up dead!"Andrew said darkly. "I'm sorry I said that Sammy, but he did alot of horrible things while you were gone."said Andrew shivering as he thought about seeing the tortured half Maura in the Shack. "He tortured Maura two times and almost killed her Sammy and not to mention he was with that evil girl Alexis D'Eath and he was helping her!"said Andrew. "He didn't turn that way until Leslie died, I guess a part of him died and he was angry about it."said Andrew sighing. "I guess I should of been there for him more."said Andrew softly running his hands through his hair.

Andrew looked at the picture and smiled. "I remember this picture, yule bale in our 5th year."said Andrew smiling. "Yeah your right Sammy, those were good times unlike now with that stupid marriage law!"said Andrew sighing. "I been ok, just working and getting over the fact I don't have a family anymore."said Andrew sighing.

Sammy frowned again when Andrew started telling her why it was that she shouldn't mourn over James. "I'm not mourning over the James that he was before he died. I'm mourning over the good James that I fell for. The man that changed who I was. The man that I thought I was in love with. I'm mourning over the fact that I left him at what I think was most likely the moment when he needed me the most." Sammy said feeling the water works dripping down her face.

Then Andrew mentioned the picture again and the memory of the night at the dance flooded her mind. A small smirk escaped Sammy's lips as she pictured that night in her head. "If only we could have stayed in that night forever. Maybe all these bad things wouldn't be happening." Sammy said as she took her wand out of her pocket and waved it towards the shelf and made a napkin fly towards her. She grabbed it out of the air and started dabbing her face.

Andrew nodded. "I understand Sammy, I just wish he was that same James that we all knew and loved when he died."said Andrew sighing. "It's not your fault Sammy if you think it is, he just lost it after Leslie died."said Andrew sighing. "Maybe if Leslie would of lived, he probably would of turned the way he did."said Andrew running his hands through his hair.

"Yeah that would be nice, if we can live in that time!"said Andrew softly. "Those were good times, to bad things aren't like that now."said Andrew bitterly. "Sh... Sammy it'll be ok."said Andrew softly before he hugged her.

Sammy continued to cry as she listened to what Andrew had to say. Sammy would have replied to what he had said about James, but Sammy just didn't feel like talking about him anymore. Then Andrew hugged her and tried to make her feel better. She liked the way he smelled and the way he felt, she hadn't felt that in a long time. Sammy could feel the tears on her face drying up as no more tears were coming out.

Sammy had to push herself away from him before she started thinking about him in the wrong way. He is her ex's brother after all. "I'm going to make some tea would you like some?" Sammy asked him as she stood up and started walking towards the kitchen in the next room.

Andrew nodded. "Sure that would be lovely Sammy."said Andrew softly. He knew she only did that because she didn't want to talk about James anymore. To be honest, he didn't blame her it was still a touchy subject to talk about him or Leslie. But Andrew was in hope that he could start over with a new family. Although he wasn't so sure with this new marriage law. He didn't want to marry someone he didn't love or want to be with, that why he hated this new law, you should be able to marry who you wanted to marry!
