PERSONALITY: Quentin wants to show people that Slytherins can be good guys too.He is determined but he centers it in Quidditch andn in prooving that he isn't like some of the Slytherins.He has some Gryffindor traits like being brave and noble and not caring that much about self preservation.He is clever and he can solve problems easily instead of using his cunning for that.He is resourceful since he loves to build things and he buys his own materials.He also is a very good leader because he takes into account every possibility and every player's strengths and weaknesses.He loves all types of animals.He instead of using his cunning for slipping away from problems he uses it to get permission to do things and also he uses manipulation to get things he wants but he uses it only on his brothers.He also has his goals set up high and he tries very hard to achieve them because his ambition asks him to do so.In his family there is only one tradition but he still likes to follow it,the tradition basically is to be a chaser or keeper in the Quidditch team.His father was a keeper and his mother was a chaser.Every single sibling he has has landed a position as achaser or keeper in their house team.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: Quentin was the fifth Child of Edward and Cassidy Cavendish.He was named Quentin thanks to the fact that he was the fifth offspring of the couple.He grew up in a non-judgemental environment.His father was an unspeakable and her mother worked as an Auror.He spent a lot of time with his parents even though they had a busy schedule.He also got to spend a lot of time with his four siblings.Then his younger brother was born and everything was pretty normal.Then his oldest sister had gone to a strange school that had a funny name Hogwarts.Then his twin brothers also left to attend Hogwarts. Then Zachary got to go to Hogwarts,or as he called it The Warts of the Hog.Three years later he was invited to attend Hogwarts and then the name stopped sounding funny but it sounded very respectable to him.He was exited but he didn't want to leave Bennett alone for two years.

Hogwarts Years:
First Year:This was the only year that Quentin got to spend with Sabrina.He spent a lot of time with his sister and brothers because he didn't really like his housemates and he was hoping that Bennett would also been put in Slytherin because he knew that if he was put there he would be a case like him and they'd at least have each other.

His grades were good not extremely the best but they were good enough for him and his parents.He was never one to miss an assignment nor did he ever leave anything incomplete or tardy.Most of the teachers expected this since it was natural among his brothers and sister.Everyone knew who he was an they were normally surprised that he was a Slytherin but his parents were okay with it and that was the only opinion he needed.

Second Year:This year his sister wasn't here anymore but his twin brothers were they hanged together whenever they could and they protected him from anything that could happen to him.They played two-on-two quidditch with a friend of the twins.Making friends like him was kind of difficult because he was a Slytherin and people thought he was like the rest.

This year he met William Crosby a Hufflepuff,one year younger, who didn't judge him at first sight of hi robes.They talked an he told Quentin he was muggleborn.He really didn't care about Will's blood status or his.He knew he was halfblood but that didn't make him superior or inferior to anyone.This year he also met Leonardo Ardiccioni a Ravenclaw,also one year younger, who didn't judge him either they became good friends.

Third Year:This year Quentin had been really excited because his brother Bennett would be joining Hogwarts.He hoped he would be sorted into Slytherin too but Bennett proved to be more of a Hufflepuff than a Slytherin.Quentin and Alfred were the only ones in the family who weren't sorted into Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff.Even if he was a Gryffindor and Quentin a Slytherin there was only rivalry in Quidditch.Alfred,Zachary and Kevin showed some of their friends that Quentin was a good guy.Which lifted Quentin's hope to be accepted by other houses rather than his own.

He hanged with William and Leo and sometimes with his brothers and their friends.This year he decided to join the Quidditch team.He was a chaser and a really good one.He practiced a lot because he wanted to be as good as his brother,Zachary who was the captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team.He aspired to be captain too but that didn't matter much anyway as long as he would be able to keep playing.The first match Quentin won was against Ravenclaw probably because Zachary was injured but he still had won.

Fourth Year:In his fourth year Quentin,Zachary,Bennett,Kevin and Alfred joined Potter's Army.People at first thought that Quentin was a spy for the Dark Followers until they got to know him then they understood he was different.There still was a bit of hostility coming from a few other members but they weren't insulting him or trying to hurt him.He practiced a lot with Bennett and Zachary because he preffered someone more at his level.Then William joined and so did Leonardo.

This was a very good year appart that he broke his leg and he couldn't play for a good while.He basically spent his day in the common room or in the library.He preferred the library since he preferred to be next to his own brothers than to be next to his fellow Slytherins.He kept it a secret that he was in Potter's Army because he didn't want to be hated even more by some of his housemates.He didn't care what they thought about him but he wouldn't let them hurt him in anyway possible and even less now that he had a broken leg.

Fifth Year:This year he was chosen as a prefect.His parents were very proud especially her mother because she was a prefect and he was the only one to be a prefect since his sister had graduated.He liked being a prefect not because he had more power, well he liked that too but he wasn't into being a prefect because of that, he just liked the feeling of making his parents proud.He never abused his power to get revenge for something someone did but he only let go William and Leonardo whenever they did something wrong.Even if William didn't agree with his choice he let him go.

This year he also discovered his love for animals and nature.He didn't like plants as much but animals were on of the things Quentin most loved.His favourite subject was oficially Care of Magical Creatures, as weird as it sounded for a Slytherin.He read the book very fast and he felt like a Ravenclaw becuse he knew every single answer and he also liked being told by the professor he was much like his father everytime he got an answer right.He spend studying every time he could, and it payed off because he passed in everything except divination, but his father and mother didn't feel even a little bit dissapointed because Divination was a bunch of rubbish to them.He of course aced the CoMC

O.W.L

Sixth Year:His sixth year was pretty normal.He had chosen the N.E.W.T.'s he wanted and had a bunch of free periods now and then that he used to walk around the Forbidden Forest or he spent it with William and Leonardo.He liked being alone sometimes when he wanted to relax but there were sometimes he detested that he was one year above them and they were still doing their O.W.L year and that meant they'd be very busy and they'd probably need their free time to study.So he spent his time flying around.

In his Christmas vacations he had gone out to a bar with his brothers.They were heading home when they stopped to get gas.Quentin got out off the car to go to the bathroom.The door was at the back of the building.He saw a car exactly the same as his fathers but he conviced himself that it was just a coincidence.He entered the bathroom and saw his dad making out with a younger girl he didn't know.He kept his mouth shut until they were back at Hogwarts and he didn't even tell William or Leonardo.

He basically spent his sixth year waiting for the summer so he could see his friends again.He decided to go camping with Leonardo and his brothers since William had plans with his muggle friends.They spent a week camping and then they came back to London.They found out that his father moved out of the house and his brothers found out his father had been cheating on their mother.He saw her crying in the kitchen and he couldn't live with himself because he felt it was his fault that his dad continued cheating on their mom.They got a divorce,then he found out he would have another brother or sister.

I understand your desire to make a "good Slytherin," but I don't think Slytherins are necessarily evil anyway.

But--there are a few key things that I look for. Slytherins are passionate people. They feel strongly about the things they believe in, and can be very loyal to the causes they support. And, for Slytherins, one of their key causes is the preservation of the wizarding world as they know it. Tradition.

That's what often leads them to feel strongly in favor of pureblood supremacy, if they feel rather extremely dedicated to the preservation of old fashioned wizarding world ideas. And it often leads them to look a bit aristocratic.

I'm not opposed to you creating a non-evil Slytherin. I'm fine with that. But at this point, if I had to sort him, I'd be sorting him to Ravenclaw.

Please look at him again, and give me more reason to make him a Slytherin.

Ok.Thanks for the feedback.
So what I did was adding a tradition in his family I forgot to add and I also made him manipulative.I also made him a determined person because he wants to be an Auror,Teacher, or a Quidditch player so he centers his determination there.

I think he may be a bit difficult for you to play and to hold true to is character design. The piece that is still difficult for me to cope with is the conflict he has between being able to discard thoughts of self preservation and his desire to manipulate to meet his own needs. Abandoning self preservation indicates being able to put others before oneself, and that generally is against human instinct. On the other hand, manipulation is most often thought of as defrauding or cheating others in order to get one's own needs met. Most generally, those are conflicting things and not things that work well together.

If you think you can do it, as it is, I will accept him, but I still think its going to be very, very hard to keep him true to both concepts.

I'm having trouble seeing how you're going to do this as he is. Maybe I'm missing something. Its not a bad app. Its just going to be really hard to play, I think, and you might want to polish him a bit more in the future after you try him.
