day in

Holding her child and a dipper bag slung over her shoulder Cecilia apperated onto Jake's front step. A smile brightening up her face as she reached up and knocked on the door. She loved it when she had time to visit Jake and Anali and couldn't wait until She wouldn't just be visiting the two.
Before leaving Cecilia had dressed Mollie in a cute little gray dress with flowers around the bottom of the skirt. She had even dressed herself up a little bit with a navy themed tank and white pants. The young mother even dug out a pair of heels.

It was safe to say that Anali was the most excited person in the world right now. Her father had been able to get the day off today so he could spend it with her and to her surprise, Cecilia was going to spend the day with them along with Mollie. She could barely contain her excitement to see the girls who she'd begun to call her mother and sister.

The four year old probably spent too much time getting ready for the day and while Jake was in the kitchen making lunch for everyone and packing it in a basket he'd gotten, Anali heard a knock on the door and she jumped up from where she was seated, on the counter watching her father cook.

She ran to the door, shouting, "I'll get it!" behind her, and she pulled the door open to find Cecilia with Mollie in her arms at the door. "Hi Cecilia!" She smiled brightly and motioned for her to come in, before closing the door behind the older girl.

"Hi Anali," Cecilia chuckled smiling down at the little girl that seemed to be so filled with joy, as she stepped inside the house and the door shut behind her. It was a wonderful feeling for Cecilia every time she came to visit the two and it was clear Anali enjoyed when she and Mollie came over and when Jake had a day off. "how are you today?" she asked tilting her head slightly as she normally did.
Cecilia glanced around but didn't see Jake. the smile on her face faded a little bit. She knew he was around but hoped he would come to greet her as Anali had.

"I'm good!" Anali exclaimed before looking down the hallway toward the kitchen. The four year old knew that Cecilia was probably hoping her father would come out and greet her or something, but she knew that probably wouldn't happen soon. "Daddy's making food, so he might not come out yet." she informed the older girl.

She grabbed Mollie's hand and played with the baby for a few moments before an idea dawned on her. "Why don't we go to the kitchen with Daddy?" she smiled and skipped down the hall into the kitchen with her father. "Daddyyy, Cecilia's here with Mollie." she said as she entered the kitchen and sat in the seat where she was before.

Jake looked up from the pan he was looking over and smiled. "Hi Cecilia." he greeted the girl and walked over to her to give her a hug before quickly going back to look at the food that was almost ready.

Cecilia followed the little girl into the kitchen. Smiling to see Jake. "Hello," she said feeling more relaxed than she had in the many months that had passed. She was happy she had found him once again. Happy that they finally ended up together after many years. "how have two of my favorite people been?" she asked taking a seat at the table rocking Mollie gently in her arms. there were only three people that brought a smile to Cecilia's face anymore and they were all there with her. She could not be any happier than when she was with them.
