Raine d'Eath has a very slender body figure with detailed features on her face. She has long hair that cascades down her back, almost reaching the middle of her back. Her hair is naturally curly and it can get rather frizzy quickly, so to keep this from happening - as she hates the curly hair she inherited from her mother - Raine uses various spells to keep it straight and in place.

Her body can be considered her "secret weapon" (though she doesn't exactly know how to use it well). Though Raine is more naive with her beauty than anything else. When she wants a boy, she doesn't know how to exactly get him with her charm. She's flirty but she doesn't know what she's doing. The clothes she wears are rather tight and hug her figure to show it off accordingly. She loves wearing capris that stop just under her knees and long-sleeved shirts that stop just below her elbow and go down in a v shape to show off some of her chest. Sometimes though, things don't work well for her.

Her eyes are quite a sight for people who actually look, having gained her mother's eye color. The only drawback was that there was rarely any light to her eyes. There were rather dull, and her stare was just as icy as her attitude. That was one thing that didn't change, even when she was around her father and was happy, her eyes always had that icy look to them.

PERSONALITY: Raine has always been a little odd. Well, to most people she's strange. Even as a little girl, Raine has had a sort of icy attitude toward most people. She isn't afraid to speak her mind but she tends to talk about people behind their backs. If someone does something to her, she isn't afraid to turn people against them, she has a sort of knack for that. With Raine, she has to be the center of attention and she gets it - one way or another.

Along with her icy attitude though, there's also something else about her. Raine is pretty vengeful. Yeah, vengeful. She'll do almost anything to get revenge for something anyone did to her or her family. The girl also has a nasty temper. If she's ever in a good mood, for all that is holy, don't ruin it. If you do, be prepared to protect yourself against hexes. And if she's already in a bad mood, stay away from her.

With Raine, it can be hard to tell if she's in a good mood or bad, the best course of action would be to just avoid her completely, unless you're sure she's in a somewhat good mood or you think you can actually tame the girl. She's rude to most of her siblings, except for the older ones, but the one person she will not be rude to - and she'll actually be affectionate towards - is her father. She admires the man too much to get him in a bad mood. You can say she's sort of a Daddy's Girl.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years: The circumstances in which Raine had been conceived were anything but ideal. Especially for Grace. Being a woman who was engaged, she shouldn't have been able to fall for another guy, right? Wrong. Love was a crazy thing and could happen at any time, to anyone - single or not. Though Grace loved the man she was going to marry, she'd just had a fight with him when she met Lorcan.

So maybe what happened to her wasn't that she was hit by love.

What she felt when she saw Lorcan was like nothing she had felt before. It was a strong, passionate feeling that she could barely control. After a few drinks with the man, she had gotten so drunk that she had slept with him. One night. That was all, after that she disappeared and got married with Lysander Richards, the man she was engaged to. Though there was one thing that was to keep Lorcan and Grace connected.

A few weeks later, Grace found out she was pregnant. At first she tried to tell Lysander that it was his child. He believed it for a while, until Grace went into labor "early" almost nine months later. It had been almost eight months if you looked at it form his point of view. He realized something was wrong when the baby girl was born very healthy with no issues, unlike a premature baby.

After a couple of months, Lysander proved that the baby girl, who had been named Raine Katrina, was not his daughter. Grace was forced to tell him what had happened a few days before they were married. At first, his reaction was terrible. He wanted nothing to do with the girl or her mother. He became distant and began to drink a lot. About two years after her birth, he finally decided that he had no choice but to accept the girl as his daughter.

By that time Raine could begin to tell that the man who she thought was her father did not like her. Though he claimed she was his daughter, Raine could tell that he disliked her. He always had an icy attitude toward her and sometimes refused to hug her and almost always left her with her mother only. It became even worse when Raine was five and her younger brother was born. Lysander treated him completely different than he did her. He was affectionate to him and never to her.

Raine finally asked her mother what was going on when she was days from turning seven. Her mother explained what had happened, and how she came to be. Raine didn't understand at first, how could she not be her father's daughter? It was a hard blow. The name who she'd been calling 'Daddy' for the past seven years... wasn't her father? At that moment it seemed like her heart shattered and her whole demeanor changed. She grew cold toward her 'father', brother and even toward her mother.

By the time she was ten, almost eleven, she decided that she wasn't going to be in a home where she wasn't truly loved. She would find her father, she decided. After asking her mother about her biological father, she had all the information she needed to find her father. But before she could do anything, her Hogwarts acceptance letter came. The thought of her birth father was pushed to the back of her mind as she got ready for the journey to Hogwarts.

Hogwarts Years: Her first year at Hogwarts wasn't the best one. The first thing that got to her was the Sorting Hat's indecision with her. Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin,. Four houses, one would soon be her House. But the hat couldn't decide. Hufflepuff was quickly thrown out of the choices as she grew angrier. She was rather intelligent, but not enough to go into Ravenclaw. That was out. Gryffindor or Slytherin. Gryffindors were friendly, chivalrous and brave. Raine was not two of the three, that was also out. The ultimate choice was Slytherin.

Not long after her being sorted, Raine met a girl a few years older than her. And her sister, who was the same age, she had been sorted a bit before Raine. The name caught her attention. Damitrius d'Eath, that was her father's name. Raine had to know more, was she related to these two girls? A friendship grew between the three of them, though Raine always kept her distance from Damitrius as she was a Gryffindor.

Raine was closer to the older girl Alexis. She helped her with her work and even tutored her for a bit in Arithmancy, which turned out to be her worst subject as the years went on. But just before the end of her first year, Raine confirmed that Alexis and Damitrius were her sisters. Half-sisters that is. She begged them to take her to her father, and while Alexis was understanding of it, Damitrius didn't like the thought of yet another sister. But they did as she requested. Instead of going back to her mother, Raine went with ALexis and Damitrius to meet her father.

Grace later found out about it and tried to scold Raine for what she'd done. At that point, the girl didn't care what her mother said. She had lost most respect for the woman. She assured that if her father allowed it, she would live with him. Later on, with a compromise from all parents, Raine was allowed to live with her father. As she got older, the girl grew to admire her biological father and does anything to please the man.

When the news of Alexis' death came, Raine almost completely lost it. The girl she looked up to and admired, she was gone. That couldn't be happening, it just couldn't. But it was, Alexis was dead. Raine blamed one person for it, the woman she had heard being mentioned by her father, Jack Dyllan. Now all Raine wants is to get revenge for her sister's death and she'll do anything to get that revenge for her sister.

i'm good with her, hit., but i'm not sure how someone who's probably a fairly young 16 becomes so accomplished at being seductive at her age. That's my only issue with her. Can you bring that back just a little, please?
