Considering Options while on Vacation

Most nineteen year olds would've been carefree and free of problems while they were at a resort. But not Frey. She had been pondering over and over again about a certain topic, wearing holes in her multiple boots from pacing way too much. Her boyfriend told her to go on a trip in order to clear her mind, let him stay at home in order to pay the bills and what not. But Frey's mind was not clear. No, this trip made it even more jumbled than before.

Anyone could see Frey's deep thought about the subject, any one. In fact, her more than nonobservant brother asked her how she was a couple days ago. He never asks about someone's well being unless they seemed a bit loony. Never.

This particular subject was one many witches face in their lives, one decision that may affect their entire path in life; Where their Loyalties Lay.

Although the decision was something many witches and wizards face, some were just handed their choice as soon as they were born. Freyjakiu was born into a family of Order supporters. While she saw the good in the Order, the justice that they handed out, Frey felt as if she shouldn't pick that route. On the other hand, the Death Eaters were a bunch that were bad as can be. If she went to that group, there's a chance she'd either end up in Azkaban, or isolated from her family. There was also another consequence, one scarier than them all.

'I need to stop thinking about this,' she thought with a mental scowl. It was almost always the best to be in favor of the Order, a bit better to be Neutral. The Death Eaters were not a valid option, so there was no need to be thinking about joining their ranks. Right?

Sighing, she ran a hand through her messy hair. She had come to the resort yesterday, a fancy shmancy place that she could afford, albeit barely. But she didn't pay, Devin did, and for that she was eternally grateful.

She shouldn't be moping around. She should be moving around! Although she wasn't normally grateful to people, Frey was grateful to Devin for paying, so she should make as much of the trip as she could. Getting up from the bed in which she rested, Frey glanced down at her clothing. It was a basic swimsuit, a black one piece. She grabbed the room key, opened the door, and set out to the resort's pool. She might as well catch up on some sun if she's going to think.

When she got to the pool, Frey laid down one of the complimentary towels onto the lounge chair, sat down, and looked up into the sky underneath her shades. Still, her mind roamed between 'paradise mode,' to 'thinking mode.' Maybe if she had someone who'd contemplate her dilemma, and give her a push in the right direction, she wouldn't be thinking this hard.

An unintelligable chorus of words coursed through Frey's mind. She honestly couldn't relax like this - it was stupid. If someone could put her mind at ease, it'd be great. Very great. Sitting up, Frey flipped her hair over onto her other shoulder and took off her shades. Turning to her right, she saw that some woman was lounging next to her. 'A familiar face,' she noted. Scooting a bit closer to get a better look, Freyjakiu saw that it was a girl that was in her same year during Hogwarts.

She was a Ravenclaw, Frey remembered, and was a pretty nice girl in general. Her name started with an A, though her last name wasn't that much harder to remember. 'Al. Alex. Alexis. Yeah, Alexis. Alexis D'Eath weren't it?' Freyjakiu tried some names before coming to a conclusion. Her name was Alexis D'Eath. She was a Ravenclaw. And her and Frey were both inducted into Hogwarts at the same time.

Considering this was a somewhat muggle resort, it was surprising to see another witch there. This could be helpful, though. Maybe she could chat the Raven up and get an opinion on her Order vs. Death Eater conflict.

Deciding this was the way to go, Freyjakiu took her chair and moved it closer to where Alexis was. Sitting down so she could face the Ravenclaw, Frey tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hi. I don't know if you remember me or anything, but I'm Freyjakiu Thistle. From Hogwarts. Slytherin, you know, we graduated at the same time? Anyways, I was hoping if I could ask you a question."
