Not only are you a troublemaker, your arrogant and cocky!

Hogsmeade Weekend, something Taranee didn't look forward to seeing how all her friends had dates they had to go on. But she wasn't about to stay in the castle, she been in the castle all week doing homework and studying. Taranee was still debating weather or not she even wants to go to Hogsmeade or not. Deciding it would probably do some good to get away from the castle, Taranee grabbed her bookbag before she headed out the Gryffindor common room towards the Entrance Hall. Pushing open the Entrance Hall doors the breeze hit Taranee's face which made her sigh before she got on the carriage still debating if this was a good idea.

Before she knew it the carriage stopped in front of the three broomsticks as she climbed out of the carriage before looking around. Of course it wasn't the same without her friends, but Taranee wasn't about to admit that. Besides, she could have fun without her friend for once right? besides they all needd a break from each other. Walking towards the three broomsticks she pushed opened the door before heading towards the bar. "May I have a butterbeer please?"Taranee asked as she set her money on the bar. As the man nodded he got her a glass of butterbeer and set it down in front of her as he took the money.

Her blue eyes looking around the packed pub she seen a empty booth in the corner by the window. Rushing over towards it, Taranee took her seat before before setting her bookabag down before looking out at the sky outside. It looked like it was going to rain which made Taranee sighed as she looked at what she was wearing. "I should of wore something different, but oh well to late for that."Taranee thought to herself. Her eyes shot from the window as she heard the bell ring and a boy walked in that she didn't regonize. By the looks of it, he was a troublemaker and quite cocky which was something Taranee didn't like.

Reid was in a good mood. Relatively speaking.

This meant that instead of being all stormy and gloomy and pissed off at the world, Reid was in the cynical, darkly-amused mood. Rather than give idiots a piece of his mind, he was inclined to actually listen them out, entertain their idiocy for his own private amusement. Of course, he was still half-traumatised by the old lady in London, who he was apparently proteging under. According to her credentials, she was an all-star graduate from the French Magical Arts and Aesthetics Academy, which specialised in magical architecture, portraits, music etcetera etcetera. The only reason he ever signed up was because she didn't mind sarcastic quips, or insults, or even feet put up on tables (actually, judging by the blank expression she often sported on her face, he doubted she noticed much of anything at all). However, what was more traumatic than the blank look, was the high-pitched squeals and giggles, and heaven-forbid, flirtatious looks she directed his way.

God. He was feeling nauseous.

Distraction, distraction. Reid walked into the Three Broomsticks, his impromptu home for the past couple of weeks, and immediately felt his neck prickle. Like he was being watched. Turning his head, he saw a girl, Hogwarts student of course, all blazing-righteous staring at him. Reid's lips quirked up to a half-smirk. Disapproval literally oozed out of her every pore, and she seemed poised to 'give him a piece of her mind', as to say. It was unusually amusing. If he hadn't needed to distract himself from thoughts of pedophilic ladies so urgently, he never would have done such an un-Reid-like thing of actually seeking out human company......but, desperate times call for desperate measures.

He walked over to the bar, tapping two fingers briskly on the counter. The barman knew what to serve him; a steaming tankard of Firewhisky, straight brew. It was amazing what a few extra Galleons could do to bend drinking laws. Reid took a generous sip, and turned to the girl complacently, "So Madame. I see you are dying to show me the error of my ways."

Taranee laughed at his reply and rolled her eyes at him. "Hm... right about that, how about you walk into a place instead of thinking you own the damn bloody place!"said Taranee her blue eyes giving him a dispprove looked. Clearly he wasn't from around here, or else he would have some manners at lease. Besides, Taranee never seen him around school unless he was a loner which he looked to be or else a loner troublemaker. Not that Taranee wasn't a troublemaker but she wasn't that much a troublemaker, of course she gotten detention here and there but nothing major. But the looks of it, he was a major troublemaker.

Eyeing his firewhiskey Taranee shook her head. Let me guess you pay the bartender alittle extra money so you can get a firewhiskey?"Taranee asked him rolling her eyes and shaking her head. "What does it even do to you besides make you act stupid?" Taranee asked him as she took a sip of her butterbeer. "Now if you don't mind, I would like to return to reading my book!"said Taranee as she gotten out her book she was reading and started reading. As her blue eyes looked up from her book she noticed he was still standing there. "Ugh! why are you still here? can't you tell I'm NOT interested in what you have to say, were NOTHING alike!"said Taranee obviously annoyed that he was still there.

"Ugh... your more annoying then potions, which is something I hate with a passion!"said Taranee. "Ugh! why am I telling you this? I don't even know you but I can tell your arrogant and cocky!"said Taranee. Turning back to her book she decided to ignore him, if he sense that she wasn't interested in talking maybe he'll go away. She could only hope right?

It was annoying yes. Also amusing. And incredibly hilarious.

The girl was just going on and on, prattle prattle prattle, babble babble babble, cheeks flushed, hair askew, hands flying this way and that in vigorous gesturing. It was the most entertaining thing Reid had seen since he came back from Bulgaria. Best part was, this time he hadn't even done anything. With the others yes, he spoke snidely, or was plain-out-rude, but this girl was blowing up at a mere comment, and apparently just by his mere presence.

He lifted his hands, palms up, sixth finger on his left hand clearly visible, "Whoa there, Firecracker. I'm not going to murder you." The girl was unrelenting though, and continued yelling at him with all the determination of a speeding train. He couldn't even catch half of the words she said, something about Potions and what not.

When she finally ran out of steam, he tilted his head sideways, lips quirking up into an amused smirk. "You hate me. Right. Got it. But I am wondering...." He crinkled his brows in mock-thought. "If you really find me that 'annoying' and 'arrogant' and 'cocky', and you're making a hell of a lot of assumptions there, since I've just met you, why are you expending so much energy on me?"

Taranee's blue eyes looked up from her book as her eyes narrowed at him obviously annoyed. "There not assumptions!"Taranee hissed at him her blue eyes turning into a dark blue with anger. "It's the damn truth, that little smirk of yours show it all!" said Taranee shaking her head. "First off, if you don't want people to figure you out don't be so damn obvious!"said Taranee shaking her head.

Turning back to her book, Taranee was so annoyed by this boy that she couldn't even read her book. "Ugh... now I think I need a damn firewhiskey now!"Taranee muttered to herself. Taranee nevered had a firewhiskey before, but what she heard it clamed you alot when you were stressed. She didn't know what it did, but this boy was driving her to where she wanted one even if she wasn't at age yet.

"That little smirk of yours shows it all!"

"Scadalised, really, that I can be so easily read." Reid tried, he really did. But he couldn't simply stop the 'little smirk' from broadening, stretching across his face. This little conversation was truly proving to be the best decision he had taken all day. Oh, where was the popcorn when he sincerely needed it. All entertainment was incomplete without it.

The girl mumbled something about Firewhisky. And Reid, ever the kind and obliging gentleman (not), slid a few more heavy gold coins across the bar, and then proceeded to shove the tankard, with smoking steaming out of the brew, under the girl's nose. "Who am I to deny you anything. Here you go, Firewhisky for the Firecracker." And almost as an afterthought, "Pinch your nose if its your first time. It helps."

He hadn't really tried corrupting someone before. Of course, he was of the opinion that nothing in the world was pure, but the girl opposite him seemed remarkably naive. "So what does the rest of the world call you?" Then clarifying helpfully. "Your name."

Taranee looked at him and did her own little smirk. "I can read people very well."said Taranee. "It's rather a gift I have."said Taranee shrugging as if it wasn't nothing.  Well... maybe this guy sitting wit her wasn't such a bad idea, he sure entertained her alot.

Taranee eyes the Firewhiskey like it was some foreign object she never seen before. Taking the Firewhiskey in one hand Taranee pinched her nose before she took a swig of it feeling her burn her throat.  "I can honestly see why you like it so much, calms your nerves."said Taranee before taking another drink.

"I'm Taranee, Taranee Raine fifth year Gryffindor."said Taranee.  "What about you, what does the rest of the world call you besides a troublemaker?"Taranee asked him chuckling.
