Early Years: Ernie was spoiled by his father. His mother passed away only when he was six. The loss of his mother affected him less than his father's death when he was ten. His father was the guy that introduced Ernie to Quidditch and taught him how to be strong and be a proper man. When his father died his grandma took him in. When he was sent his Hogwarts letter he was happy to get out of Scotland and see some of the world.
Hogwarts Years: Ernie was a strong believer that Harry Potter was the heir of Slytheryn. He didn't trust Harry Potter until he joined DA. He frequently dated Susan Bones, she impacted his decision to join DA. Other than that he passed all of his classes with straight A's, except potions he'd had an O.
Adulthood: He married longtime girlfriend Susan Bones straight out of Hogwarts and had four children. He also had a farm, of which was taken from him. He is great friends with the Longbottom family, of which are his children's god parents.
