Brian yawned as he walked into the detention room...... again. He was pretty sure he had gotten away with his little firecracker fiasco in the dungeons, but a few hours after his little talk with that Slytherin girl, in came marching the prefects and the professors. They did not find his revenge story all that intriguing and they did not connect with any of the characters, especially himself, which was weird because he was pretty sure he played himself up as the hero. Which, he was, those Slytherin's deserved it for picking on first years. That's what they get when they mess with Gryffindor, Brian was ruthless, at least in his own head.
He lugged his backpack onto a desk in the back and he plopped himself down. It was just him in the detention room, which wasn't strange, he was there by himself a lot actually. Enough to where the professors who were responsible for giving him detention would often let him leave early or just let him sleep. They really did not care what he did, and as long as he was quiet, they pretty much left him alone.
"Just me tonight then?"
"Nope, one more, be quiet Mr. Sullivan."
"Who is gracing my detention room tonight?"
"Enough Brian."
Brian rolled his eyes and he kept his attention focused on the door. Oh he hoped it was a girl, and not one of those ugly ones, he hoped she was good looking so he could have something to look at for the next hour. Heck, the professor who was watching over him was notorious for falling asleep, he could probably do a little talking and come away with a date or something. He never knew anymore, he just went with it, and he lived in his own little fantasy world where everything went his way all the time.
