GENERAL APPEARANCE: Sebastian was born with black hair, like everyone in his family, but his eyes are green. No one really knows where it came from, as the rest of his family are all brown eyed, except Persephone, who has blue eyes, and their cousin Seb, who has grey.
Seb has a small hoop peircing in his lower lip, off to the right side and is average height and build, not skinny but slim..

CHARACTER HISTORY

Early Years:Born as one of a pair, Sebastian was the older of the twins birthed by his mother. His sister, Persephone, was born immediately after, holding onto his hand. The nurses commented that they would always be close.
Which just goes to show how much some people wish, rather than know.
Seb and Persephone were born Ilsa Bronwin and Magnus Marionette, and began their life close. They had ordinary childhoods for the most part, with laughter and tantrums, with parents who smiled and hugged their children and would scream and throw things at each other. No family is perfect.
When their powers emerged, Persephone’s first, it seemed to put a strain on their parents. Their mother was a half blood, but she worked in the muggle world. Their father had been from a pureblood family. They had met through their work, or rather when they were both at early stages of their career, she lobbying for muggle rights and he a clerk at the ministry. He had walked straight into her, scurrying towards the lift with refreshments for his boss, already late for his first day.
Some would have called it Kismet that he collided with her, the cold drink spraying them both.
She called him a clumsy idiot. He called her a dirty hippy.
It was hard to believe it would become something more later. That they would coldly ignore each other throughout any meeting, until she was invited to a gala hosted by the ministry, partly to welcome her as part of the muggle relations.
She had been introduced to many people that night by her new boss and couldn’t have been more annoyed when he introduced “that pureblood upstart” Marrionette. She’d been polite and courteous, not betraying any of her former feelings as her boss explained that Magnus was working with the Minister’s office. He didn’t give too many details of his exact post.
To his credit, Magnus acted the perfect gentleman and made polite chit chat until he was called away by some other party. She felt herself relax, the most awkward part of the night over, until she found that she had been seated right next to him.
She was surprised when he pulled her seat out for her and even poured her wine, sure he was up to something, but they were surrounded by colleagues and she dared not to make a scene. She didn’t want to lose this job.
The night progressed so well that by the end of it, not only were they on good speaking terms, but she’d asked him and he’s accepted. She had been slightly tipsy and tired of sitting there. He could have easily brushed her off, but he didn’t.
A whirlwind romance followed it, including both of their families being unhappy about their match up. Everyone in her family said his were awful snobs, his said hers were common as muggles.
The marriage went ahead despite the negativity from both sides. It was a struggle from day one, with the animosity from both sides, which didn’t help their marriage, but they were determined. When their children came, they hoped this would be the glue that pulled their family together.
It didn’t work. Their parents would see the children and put up with their “child in-law” but it was clear that they were unhappy.
But their twins would always have each other, they would say to each other, like a prayer to anyone who would hear it.
When the twins reached the age of 5, they went to muggle school. Ilsa had been quite clear on that from day one. She had been sent to a muggle primary school so that she could learn how to control herself and interact with muggles, and so would her children.
“They need to understand about those without magic,” she had insisted, and Magnus had consented.
His parents had been furious, her smug and self-satisfied.
“Your children should be learning our ways,” his mother said at nearly every opportunity. “Persephone is already starting to show great promise. You should be nurturing her gift, not teaching her to hide it.”
Magnus mad a magical tutor brought in for the summer holidays, so when other children were out on the streets, the twins were inside learning. They got weekends off, but they tended to stick together. Even their teachers commented on how little they interacted with other children. Their teachers separated them in classes to try and encourage them to make new friends, but while they were nice enough to other children, one they were together no one else would matter anymore.
Ilsa insisted it was a stage. If so, it was a stage that lasted through their first 3 years at school, and would probably have continued to do so, if their parents had still been around.
The full of what happened no one knew, or if they did no one said. All that was known was that Ilsa was found dead and Magnus under some curse which made it impossible to get anything from him. Just a living corpse, that can move if lead and will eat and drink if forced, but nothing more. To this day he lays in his parent’s home, a private healer with him at all times.
The children were 9.
Both sets of grandparents fought for the children and in the end it was decided that the only way to settle it, and to make it best for the children was that each set of grandparents would be guardian of one. They would be able to see the other child and have them for periods of time, but their primary carrers would be incharge of them.
Persephone was taken out of muggle school, her placed into the charge of the Marrionettes. Seb remained, as decided by the Bronwin’s.
The twins didn’t see much of each other, despite the ruling of the court. They would get each Sunday to start with, then every other, then once a month. They always met in the park and talked of what was happening. They wrote to each other regularly but meeting made them feel closer.
But no one could deny it was good for both children not to be so close.
Persephone showed an amazing aptitude for music, Seb for language. Seb became well liked in school, having friends over. He even became close to their cousin, Janus, who was 6 years his elder. Persephone met more witches and wizards like her.
“Grandma tells them I’m a pureblood,” she told her brother one day. “She says I’m not to tell them any different.”
“Why?” said Seb, who didn’t understand much about blood, but he was sure that his blood was pure, or he would have been dead. He was only 8.
“Just because.”
He’s asked Janus when he’d seen him, who told him about pure bloods and half bloods.
“Pure bloods look down on anyone who isn’t” he informed him.
When they were 10, they were seeing each other rarely. They would be able to stay overnight once a month at the other’s house.
Seb liked when Persephone came and stayed, but after she left, Nanny and Gramps would say that she was becoming too much like Grandma Georgiana. He didn’t think so. Grandma Georginana was strict and always a little cold with Seb, as if he’d done something to offend her and she’d never been able to forgive him.
But they both were excited about going to wizard school, where they could be together, at Hogwarts.

It wasn't the nicest of days, Seb reflected as he thought of his first journey from platform 9 and 3/4. The skies promised rain, with clouds swollen like bulging toads, ready to let their contents fall. Still it hadn't started yet, and maybe they would be on the train before it begun.
He remembered the journey from his grandparents to the station, in the back of the people carrier with Janus, his older cousin, who was sitting so slumped he was practically lay , rather than seated. His cousin didn't look pleased at the prospect of returning to the school.
Seb, like most children his age, couldn't wait. He found himself craning around, looking for the station, peering into cars, hoping to see a glimpse of dark hair and blue eyes, but the muggles that drove didn't look at him, their impatience for London traffic clear on their grumpy faces.
He wondered how Seph was going to get there. She hadn't said in her letters. He wished they could have picked her up and taken her, but Grandmother Georgiana would never have allowed it.
When they pulled upto the station, he jumped out, standing on toes and looking around excitedly while his Nanny, Gramps, Aunt Christie and Janus got out of the car, Aunt Christie clouting Janus for slouching.
"You look like you have ants in your pants," grinned Gramps to Seb as he got nearer.
"I can't see her," said Seb in responce.
"We will see them all soon enough," said Gramps, with less enthusiasm than Seb.
Once the trolley was loaded, they set off to the platform, Seb turning this way and that to try and get the first glimpse of his sister, but it wasn't until they emerged onto the platform that he laid eyes on her.
Persephone was stood with a brown case beside her legs, looking at the train. He was not surprised to see that she was dressed quite formally, in a dark blue dress, her hair put up. Beside her stood Grandmother Georgina, who was pursing her lips and eyeing others as they went past, as if they were all beneath her.
He wanted to shout his sister, wanted to run up to her, but knew his Grandmother would not like it. Instead he led his group to where they stood and greeted his grandmother.
"Good morning, Grandmother," he said, trying to keep his tone as neautral as he could.
He looked at her as she eyed him carefully, watching as she gave a curt nod of approval, but looked at his appearance with less pleasure.
Unlike his sister who was perfectly turned out, Seb wore a pair of comfortable, worn jeans and a dark green hoody, along with very old trainers. He lower lip had a hoop piercing, an experiment with Janus.
He turned to his sister, unable to wait any longer, nor to keep the grin from his face.
"Good morning Persephone," he said, feeling pleasure as she gave him a soft smile.
"You should board the train," his Grandmother announced, and he wondered if this was because his Nanny had just called Persephone by her pet name "Sephy."
Persephone went to Nanny and gave a brief kiss upon the cheek, the same to Gramps and to Aunt Christie, before heading to the train. Seb ran to his Gramps and Nanny and gave them a huge hug, grinned at his Aunt Christie and headed for the train. Janus had already vanished.
He found his sister in a compartment on her own, putting her bag away neatly.
"I've missed you, sis," he told her, watching as her face turned to his.
Her smile was small, but there, and he threw himself into the seat opposite, ready for their adventure to begin.

Cosmetically, also, you need to know the name of your playby. As it is, his name is Alex Evans and you'll need that for the claim.

Your app looks good. I only have one question and its about a little thing. I'm guessing its my American background that perhaps makes me question. "Bare face cheek"--I presume that's the standard translation that he has no trouble being utterly candid? Or something close to that? Just want to make sure I'm on the same page. LOL.

Pretty much. If, for example, if a teacher gets cross because he is messing around in flying class, they might say to him, "do you want to learn how to fly on a broom?"
To which he might reply, "unless you're going to teach me to ride a hippogriff" or "I didn't realise we got a choice. I'm like to learn using a skateboard."

He is intelligent, his greatest passion is languages, which is his biggest strength and something his family nurtured, so he can speak quite a few. His rebellious side comes from an anger at authority, which separated him from his sister at a young age and has continued to do so since. Don't get me wrong, he's not completely disobedient and is a good student, he can sometimes just have a big mouth.
