Hello members!
We have made plenty of changes to PA over the last month. You might even miss a few of them, so I’ll explain them all here.
PLOTMost important one first;
our new plot is underway. After considering your votes in the PA Discussion thread, we decided to go with the Ministry Revolution plot, and once that gets going, we will start a few of the subplots you guys mentioned (Marriage law, etc.)
If we are to pull this one off though, we will need participation from most of you. So if you have a graduate character, please reply to the threads in plot discussion.
You may have noticed it, but I’ll point out again that this month we have a love potion thread in Hogwarts that is affecting all students. Read about that in plot discussion.
While we’ve started the new plot, we’ve also added information about the old plots
at PA history. Have a read through that for either information or nostalgia. Selwyn has done a fantastic job here, but even so we might have missed some bits. Feel free to reply there if you want anything added.
RP ADVICEPA has helped many of us develop our roleplaying skills, but we’ve never had a section on the forum where members can share roleplaying advice. So, we’ve created the
RP advice forum, where you can check out some pointers about roleplaying/writing or give a few of your own.
MAGICHATThis is sort of an IC chatbox, but much better. Check it out

AWARDS AND MEMBER TRUNKSOld members will remember that we used to have seven different awards every month at the awards section, and you could post these awards in your signature.
Permanent awards are sort of like that, except they appear as medals in your profile, and as images in
your trunk. Note: I’m still working on them, so some of you don't have any yet in your profile.
As for the OoM awards, they are still there, but now appear as chocolate frog cards in the sidebar. You can post all those in your Member Trunk as well, as well as other images that will be given for participation in the plot, or if you earn some position etc. Member trunks are a way to keep track of your characters achievements at PA, IC and OOC. See Selwyn's trunk for an example.
WORLD OF PAWorld of Potter’s Army is a new forum where you can help develop and find out more about the PA universe. Some of the threads there such as
magical creatures are very important and deserve a read.
PLOT DISCUSSIONLastly, there is plot discussion. A place where you can post a plot idea of yours or join someone else’s. You might also want to check out the
Random Event and
Owl Post threads there.
