Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Cold are the winter days Empty Cold are the winter days

Post by Andrei Dolohov Tue Jan 08, 2013 10:44 am

The moment Andrei stepped outside he regretted his decision. He was already use to Hogwarts cold January weather as this was his sixth year here. But even so, something told him that it was a lot colder than on an average January day. Wrapping his scarf tightly around his neck, he continued stomping through the snow towards Hogsmeade. At least he had a peaceful view around him, since there was not a single soul present. Of course, who would walk in this kind of weather? Pushing his legs to go a bit faster, he soon arrived to his destination and walked into the nearest pub he could find, which in this case was Hog's head.

Shaking the snow of his coat, Andrei welcomed the warm air that gently wrapped around his body. He took a seat at the bar and called for the waiter. "A butterbeer for me", he said quickly already pushing coins into the waiters hands and giving him a tip as well. Working as a bartender himself, he now appreciated their service a lot more than before and was more generous with his tips.

Taking the menu, he glanced through it too see if he could get a snack as well. Not that he was that particularly hungry, but he felt like snacking on something warm in this cold weather.
