Today it seemed that all of the world was filled with sorrow, hurt and craze. Ginevra didn't blame it, not really. What else was there really to look too? Love? It didn't seem like it was much of that going around, at least not around her. The only people that she knew were still happy were Jess and Mari. Okay, Darren and his "girlfriend" to but she really didn't want to think about that and honestly, when it came to Jess and Mari she expected them to work out and have a thousand children and be happier than ever! They were the exception, she had envied some of their relationship back in Hogwarts (in silence, of course) for good reason. There was (almost) always good reason behind every one of her actions. Today, for example, was one of those decisions that had a reason. After leaving town and seeing how much it had actually affected some of the people she cared about, somewhere inside of her felt the need to apologize so here she was. Next on her list of people was Sophia Granger. The two had been friends back in Hogwarts, despite the fact that they were in different houses. Sophia often reminded her of the sweeter side that she could have, without dramatic explosions here and there. Sure, it didn't last very long before she had to do some tweaking to how she controlled herself, but that was definitely beyond the point.
Having met each and every one of her friends so far in a different location, today she had chosen The Three Broomsticks. Back in Hogwarts, they had loved to visit the place. It was better on its quieter days, but she knew that it was for memory sake, not for how much she prepared to not hear annoying twelve year olds crying about how hard their live was. Shaking her head, Ginevra wanted to stay away from the bitter side. She had once been one of those annoying preteens and she knew it but it could get hard to remember that at times. Ordering a drink with the barkeep, she had arrived early on purpose to get comfortable. Ginevra had a need for comfort, even if she was great at uncomfortable situations. Sipping slowly, she expected Sophia to be late. The girl had always been a little more girly than Ginevra herself had and she respected it because Sophia had always been one of the few people she cared deeply about. Hearing the door open, Ginevra didn't look that way. Inside she felt her stomach turn, a feeling she knew not overly well but naturally came explained. A vampire was around. Averting her eyes, it was best she didn't pay attention. She was here for Sophia, not for the blood to pump through her veins so fast she had to leave. The urge to get violent, even when unturned, was tempting. There really were many downsides to being like her, however the blonde was determined. Sucking in a deep breath, she was going to do this. She would not ditch again. Allowing her breath to escape her slowly, she closed her eyes for a moment and opened them in time to feel her head turn and her teeth grit. Why was this happening today of all days? Why!
