GENERAL APPEARANCE:

Lloyd has been a skilled metamorphmagus for a long time, and thus his face has changed quite a bit from the original. Strangely, he no longer even remembers how he once looked. The face he wears most often now is one of a pale young man, with medium length black hair. He has noticeable eye shadows in all his appearances due to sleep deprivation. Lloyd doesn’t care much about fashion. When he’s not working, he generally wears a plain white T-shirt with blue jeans. When outside, Lloyd likes to wear his trench coat.

PERSONALITY:

With his vast knowledge and brilliant deductive abilities, Lloyd is very good at what he does. One of his main skills is his ability to arrive at grand assumptions through very little information. He is also very good at obtaining that information, and seldom misses any small details. While not a people person, Lloyd is surprisingly good at getting into others minds and understanding what might be thinking. He is also very resourceful, able to think quickly to get the better of his opponents.

Lloyd’s drive to fight crime stems partly from his father’s murder, but it would be wrong to say that is his only motivation. The truth is that Lloyd gets bored with everything very easily, and finds his work as a detective and a spy as a distraction from that boredom. Nothing excites him more than a clever criminal who gives him a good challenge.

Lloyd can be quite charming and manipulative, but he uses these simply as tools in his work. In reality, Lloyd is a recluse who prefers to spend most of his time outside work alone. Around people he is quite tranquil, seldom getting angry or happy. Many would feel that he lacks any emotions, and because of this Lloyd attracts much animosity amongst anyone he works with. He also often accidently makes offensive comments towards others.

Early Years:

Lloyd was born to wealthy, muggle parents. His household was a calm and happy one, a rare example of a perfect family. However, that wasn’t to last. Walking one day back from a movie, Lloyd’s father was shot by a mugger. This event would later have a huge effect on his personality. His mother gave him away to his uncle shortly afterwards. Lloyd spent the next ten years in his house or at Hogwarts. Though also a muggle, Lloyd’s uncle taught him almost everything he knows, which is why he refers to him as his mentor.

Hogwarts Years:

The sorting hat did not take long to sort Lloyd. The hat was barely on his head when it yelled “Ravenclaw!” Lloyd went on to do quite well in his house, being reasonably well liked and respected by other Ravenclaws. He did have a problem with authority though, and ended up losing many points and ending up in several detentions for arguing with teachers or just not listening to them. Still, Lloyd was by no means a bad student. Despite knowing almost all the secret passageways in the castle, he seldom did anything like sneaking to Hogsmeade.

Lloyd did well on subjects that required knowledge rather than practicing. He found the learning of charms and other spells to be tedious and frustrating. Discipline was simply not his strength, and he did not have much natural magical talent either. However, Lloyd’s incredible memory, deductive abilities and vast knowledge meant he did very well in subjects like Ancient Runes, History of Magic, Herbology and Potions. Lloyd would also find great use of these subjects later on in his career. Not surprisingly, he ended up with an excellent, but lopsided, academic record, failing transfiguration but getting the top marks in the subjects he was good at.

Adulthood:

To many people’s surprise, Lloyd did not apply for a job upon graduating. Instead, he went and settled in his parent’s old house, living off his inheritance. His will to fight crime remained, and he sometimes involved himself in law enforcement. But Lloyd was doing it on a mostly independent and infrequent basis until the ministry spotted his talents and decided to hire him. He is now the head of a secret ‘service’ of sorts. In truth, the ‘service’ actually just includes Lloyd, some other irregular spies and several informers.
