Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Juliet Slowly sipped at her coffee, biting her lip every once in a while, unaware of her surroundings. As she finished, she put her cup in the trash. Thinking of what she should do, although she didn't enjoy admitting she was wrong, she started to jog after Jayden. She wanted to make things right with him, she wasn't going to ruin their non-exsistant friendship for some stupid mistake their parents made. Jules picked up her speed, looking around for him. "Jayden?" She called out, how far had he gone, or where he would've gone. "Jayden?" She called out, louder than before.

She yawned as she ran, although drinking caffeine, it hadn't affected her yet. "Jayden?!" She almost screamed, ignoring the stares and looks she was receiving from the people around her.

Jayden could hear his name being called in the distance and he knew that it was probably Juliet who was calling for him. He stopped for a moment, thinking he should go back, but he quickly shook the thought out of his head and he kept going. He had nothing more to say to Juliet, and she was probably just going to go off on him again if he even said anything to her, so it was best if he just kept going. He glanced around looking for any shop he could go into to pass the time, until Juliet thought that he wasn't in Hogsmeade anymore, but there was really no where he would want to go, so he figured he would just go back to the castle. It was better than just walking around the small village aimlessly and risking her finding him to have another arguement.

It didn't even cross his mind that she would want to apologize as he was going by the nature of a Slytherin. They never liked admitting they were wrong or anything so he doubted that was what she was calling him for.

Juliet saw him a little ways up, She ran harder, then jumped onto him, knocking them both down. "Jayden!" She said, rolling off of him, looking at him. "I'm sorry alright? I--you were right, I was wrong, stop ignoring me..." She said softly, she glanced away, her eyes flooding with tears. She never cried this much before, why now? "Please...say something.." She whispered. She slowly stood, holding her hand out to him, she waited for him to take it. "I know you were right, But Dani would never do that, her brother...maybe...but not Dani...she wouldn't..she's been my best friend since I was younger."

She took a deep breath, looking down at him still. "And my mother only wants the best for me, like your parents, and...and I guess that means marrying one another. Even if it means you--we don't want to...So I'm...Sorry.." She said, now out of breath.

One moment he was walking, the next he felt someone jump on him and then he was on the ground, nearly smashing his head onto the ground. He was able to stop himself from smashing his head just in time though and he propped himself up slowly, as he looked at Juliet. He was angry enough with her as it was, this just made him fo overboard. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" he screamed. "You couldn't have found some way to stop me besides jumping on me and nearly causing me to hit my head on the ground and die?!" he screamed, before he tried to calm down. He brought his hand up to his face, closed his eyes and sighed heavily.

His eye flew open whens he apologized though and his hand dropped form his face. Jayden stared at her, not believing that she had actually apologized. He looked at her extended hand and brushed it away before getting up on his own. "I wouldn't be so sure." was all he said in response to her, and he refused to even look at her.

Juliet stared at him, guilt written all over her face. "i'm sorry.." She said again, looking at him, she slowly lowered her hand from him. "Don't be so sure for what Jayden?" Her guilt was getting the best of her, she lowered her head, looking at the ground, staring at her shoes. "What's your problem with me all of a sudden? We were...friends...and now...you hate me. over something I didn't even do.." She sighed, she knew it wasn't fair, but he was blaming her for their parents mistakes. Not her's. "You don't have to go around blaming me for something your parents agreed to. If anything you're part of this stupid act as much as I am now."

Juliet stared daggers at him as she tapped her foot impatiently. "It's not like I ask my mother or your parents for your hand in marriage. Our parents agreed to it. Not me. Not you, so get over yourself. I used to like you. More than a friend. And now it's ruined, because you're blaming something I don't even want anymore to happen." She looked at him still, frowning. "And if I had the choice, I wouldn't even be in this school. Nobody likes me here. Not even Dani. My own best friend. Like you said she's probably using me. But that doesn't mean you had to be a jerk about it." She paused for a moment looking at him. "But I didn't come here to argue with you. I came to apologize. Which took a lot of nerve. I never do that..so...just.." She stopped herself before saying anymore, but without realizing it she bit her lip, but the words still came out.

"Grow up before you blame me for this whole thing."

"My 'problem' is that all of this was just shoved in my face all at once." he said. "And you know what, whatever. It is your fault. Yours and your mum's." he spat at her. "If she hadn't just decided to raise you like the pureblood you aren't then we wouldn't be in this mess. And it's your fault because you've actually gone along with it. You can decide if you want to go along with it or not, even if your mum tells you otherwise." he said.

"I don't care if you like me or not as more than a friend. I don't like you like that, and I don't want to get married with you. If anything, your the last person I'd want to marry."he said harshly. "I'm going to find a way out of this stupid arrangement, somehow." he stated. Jayden wasn't going to let his parents just decide on his life, and he was going to find a way to get rid of the engagement. No matter who wanted this to happen, Jayden would try to make sure that it didn't happen. "If that's all you had to say, then I'm leaving." he said coldly, turning around and walking away again.

"I'm done with all of this."

"Jayden stop!" Juliet screamed at him. "Stop with it! It's not my mum's fault! You don't think this hurts me? You don't think I want to find someone a lot better than you? You're the last person I'd ever want to be near. So why..why are you being so rude?! Don't you think we should sort this out with our parents?!" She watched Him walking away, not knowing what to do now. "Please Jayden.." She stared after him still, her eyes watching him, not knowing what he'd do.

"Jayden, please, why are you pinning this on me? It's not just me. I didn't know this would happen. I didn't know anything about it. So please, please talk this out with me Jayden....please..." She mumbled softly. Staring at him, she reached for his hand, holding onto it so he was unable to pull away. "Jayden....please..." She whispered softly, her eyes brimmed with tears again.

Jayden didn't know what else to say to her anymore. This was all too much for him to handle all at once. What was he supposed to do, act like it was nothing and be happy about it? He didn't think so, he wasn't happy, and not because of who he was marrying, but because he didn't even have a say in the matter. All she had been doing since he said everything was apologizing. Now maybe it was his turn.

The sixteen year old turned around to face Juliet, allowing her to keep her grip on his hand this time and he sighed. "I'm sorry." he told her. "I'm sorry okay?" He wasn't sure what he was supposed to say now. But he tried to get something out. "I'm sorry for all of this. I didn't mean to pin everything on you. But it's all so much to take on at once and what's more we don't even get a say in it. I'm sorry." he ended with the same two words and he just looked down at the ground.
