Daily Prophet: Attack On Diagon Alley

Dear Readers,
I have been asked to give the Public an update on the tragedy that unfolding in Diagon Alley a few days ago. This has been urgent enough for the Daily Prophet to publish an early edition of the Daily Prophet. We will be addressing the attack in Diagon Alley and other events. We know this is a hard time for all you and we will do our best to respect the wishes of the families and the Ministry. Only families who wanted their family members listed and were approved by the Ministry will be posted. We wanted to thank the heroic deeds of those who responding to the attack in Diagon Alley Aurors, Healers and citizens alike. Remember everyone that together we stand, apart we fall. Our hearts go out to every family and friend who has lost someone or is missing someone. Don’t give up, there is hope and no one can ever take away hope.

A few days ago there was a Dark Mark above Diagon Alley. Aurors and everyday heroes arrived to the scene of Diagon Alley on fire. The causalities were already high before Healers had even arrived. Fire was consuming the Diagon Alley but a few people fought off the fire with wand in hand. People risking their own lives for others. Despite all the chaos from the event Aurors, Healers and other civilians were able to contain the fire. We may never know exactly what had happened all we know is that there are many unnecessary deaths. Many of you may already know by the time we are cleared to publish this that there has been a few abductions. We have been asked not to give the names of the dead, injured or missing until this attack has fully been investigated. We will keep you, the public, updated on this scene. Just know that Aurors are doing their best to get this attacked investigated. One thing seems to be the general thought about this attack that it was caused by Death Eaters. We can’t tell you much more at this time because we do not know anymore.


Claire Macmillan: A sixteen year old Ravenclaw was killed in the Forbidden Forest by an unknown killer. She left behind two sisters, a brother and her parents. She was a brave, intelligent, curious and creative girl who will never be forgotten through her drawings. Wake will be held at the Bones manor in Queenborough on October 26 and the funeral on October 27 at the Bones manor in Queenborough.

Edgar Macmillan: A seventeen year old Gryffindor killed in Hogsmeade by an unknown killer. He left behind two sisters, a brother, his parents, his girlfriend and unborn child. He was a great brother, son and boyfriend. He will be greatly missed. Wake will be be held at the Bones manor in Queenborough on October 26 and the funeral on October 27 at the Bones manor in Queenborough.

Thaor Sr. Elldir: Died in the line of fire in Diagon Alley. He left his son and granddaughter. We lend our hearts to the family.

We have been told that Thoar Sr Elldir. was killed in Diagon Alley long with many others but a few our questioning this verdict but that isn’t the point of this article. Thoar Sr.’s son Thoar Jr. an 28 years old. Thaor Sr left Ty a sum of just over 73 million galleons. 25 million will be gonig to St Mungo's, 25 million to Hogwarts, and the rest will be used to start the Ty Elldir Foundation, a non-profit that helps homeless witches and wizards, and those in need. For those of you confused why all the money is going to Thoar Jr. it is because his Diana Evelyn James , an American witch, died in a muggle car accident when he was 10. We cannot divulge any other details about the family out of respect for the family and the fact we don’t really know much more the public needs to know at this time. We will keep you guys updated on this.
