Potions Class Two, with the Nice d'Eath

Milo loved that he had this favor of Alistair's head. And he had a fun idea for what he would do so Alistair wouldn't find it necessary to repay him. See, if Milo ran the class well, Alistair would owe him a favor. But, Milo was a good half brother, and he would not do that. So he intended to play a little prank on the second eldest of the Lorcan demon spawn.

He was in Alistair's office, hanging large posters that had Milo's smiling face. Each of the Milos were singing different muggle songs. Everything from rock ballads to "Barbie Girl" to boy band music. All out of key, all at the same time.

Meanwhile, the first bell signalling the end of the last class had sounded. On the board were the directions:

Years 1-5, turn to page 212. Get all ingredients for Antidote to Common Poisons
Years 6-7, turn to page 647. Get all ingredients for Polyjuice Potion, part one.
All students- please take a few things from the boxes at the front.

At the front were a few large boxes with pastel-colored scarves, sequined hanging decor, and other feminine room decorations.


Milo is subbing, for those of you who caught on. I'm not crazy.

I realize the Polyjuice Potion calls for sixty-eighty minutes of brewing. Once each students reaches that point, Milo will give you a potion he worked on that has already reached that step and you can work on that potion. Isn't Milo sweet?

Also, we're playing a class prank on Alistair. Grab a few decorations after you get your potion all set up.

And talk with each other for pete's sake! Milo is in the office so you have no supervision. Flirt, argue, gossip!

After having been late last class, Saoirse made dead certain that she would be on time this go. She was pleased to see that she was the first student there upon walking into the classroom. She chose a seat towards the front of the class, figuring that most other students would prefer the back of the class and wouldn't bother her, though she did make sure to sit far from the phantom voice singing 'Barbie Girl.' She didn't mind the 'Bye, Bye, Bye' coming from the portrait nearest to her. She had come across this band's music once in her youth, and had found it enjoyable, though now the most enjoyable thing about it was thinking about that JC Chavez. What a dream-boat!

Smiling a bit, glad that no one could see her thoughts, Saoirse dug into her bag and procured the book 'Magical Drafts and Potions' as well as her cauldron. Saoirse set up her cauldron before searching in her book for the needed ingredients to create the 'Antidote to Common Poisons.' She did not have a Bezoar or Unicorn horn, however she should be able to find them in the student stores cupboard.

Leaving the ingredients she did have arranged most neatly at her table, book still open to the needed page, Saoirse left her seat and wandered over to the student stores to find a Bezoar and Unicorn horn.

Franki was not going into the class until she had confirmed the rumors. She had heard they would be having a substitute and that was the only thing that could convince her to go inside. She had not worked up the nerve to face Alistair d'Eath again- not yet, anyway. So, full of uncertainty, she stood outside, chewing on her nails even though Astoria would have a conniption if she had seen Franki chewing the nails she had paid for so much product for.

A girl entered the classroom and an idea struck Franki. She poked her head into the classroom, quickly looking around... Why were there pictures of the hot substitute professor? Perhaps... Yes! There was a sub! But she had to make sure.

"Pssst!" Franki hissed at the girl, who was walking towards the student cupboards. "Do me a favor! Peek into the office! If it's Alistair, let me know!" She realized the girl was only a first year and probably afraid of risking getting in trouble. "Please!" Franki pleaded.

((Yeah, yeah, I know I should wait for others to post, but I'll make it short. ))

Saoirse glanced uncertainly towards the professor's office. She had heard rumors about Slytherins, and she was vaguely worried that the older girl could be trying to get her into trouble. However, Saoirse had never been one to deny someone her help when it was needed. A good excuse for peeking into the office already solid in her mind. She instantly saw where the 'Barbie Girl' song had been coming from, as she watched Professor Milo hanging up more portraits inside the office.

"Fantastic," Saoirse thought to herself as she ducked her head back out. She didn't consider Milo to be a very good teacher. He seemed nice, but unreliable, and well, frankly odd.

"It's Professor Milo," she informed the Slytherin as she retraced her interrupted steps back to the stores cupboard.

((pssssh, I don't mind how much you post. It keeps the class going. =D))

The girl hesitated before turning towards the office. Franki waited, steeping in anticipation, hoping earnestly that the girl could relay the news back to her before anyone else entered the classroom. She didn't want people to think she was afraid of Alistair, even if she was. If someone spotted her, she would have to play up the rebellious attitude she had presented last lesson, and she did not think she was brave enough to pull that off a second time.

The girl informed her of the good news and Franki's shoulders sagged with relief. "Thank Merlin." She stepped into the classroom and put her bag at a seat directly in front of the professor's desk. She wanted to enjoy the time she had with the hot professor. She glanced over at the younger girl and said, "Thanks. I owe you one."

She squinted up at the board and cringed. Polyjuice Potion. Well, that decided it. She'd be blowing up her cauldron today. She looked through her own store after consulting her book- she was out of fluxweed and leeches. And lacewings. Great. She stood, and hurried over to the store, beginning to gather all she would need in her arms.

Elliot walked into class and groaned when she spotted Polyjuice Potion. She had done it last year and had always brewed it poorly. She sighed and unloaded her things in the back, leaving spots around her for Judd and Foster. Her boyfriend wasn't taking Potions this year so she was stuck with her goofball friends.

She opened the book and quickly gathered all of the ingredients she didn't have. Another quick glance at the board startled her. Take something from the box? She took a detour and looked through the box. Ooh, room decor. This would be interesting. She glanced up and saw Francesca Malfoy. "Nice to see you again, Malfoy," Ellie said. She tossed a few things on the Slytherin's girls desk. "There ya go."

She grabbed her own things, taking the decorations and ingredients back to her desk. This surely guaranteed some amount of fun.

Victoria was excited, apparently they had a sub, and by the looks of the posters of the sub he was hot. She opened the door to the potions classroom which was so far only full of girls, "Hey" she said to them, while mindlessly reading the board, after 3 minutes of reading the board, she let out a ditzy "Ohhh" and picked some decor from the box.

She reached out into her bag and pulled out her copy of "Most Potene Potions" this wasn't the set guideline book, but she got it from the restricted section, as it gave her in her opinion more guidance. Victoria read aloud "Add three measures of fluxweed to the cauldron.", this would be easy.

"Hey Girls" she said, she came over to each of their desk, and gave them a toothy smile.

Shay walked cheerfully towards the Potions class and wondered what potion they are going to make today. Lass used to dislike potions, but now it might even be her favourite class. Though she liked charms too.

Adriana was in a brilliant mood. Divination's teacher though her diary of dreams was perfect, in reality she made all her dreams up. Shay and most of the people had to improvise in every divination class because they didn´t have a third eye or something, but Ade found it funny.

Ade entered the classroom, chuckled and picked a seat near poster who was singing AC/DC's “Highway To Hell”, the original was better, but the poster did still great job and earned some extra points, because he was so attractive.

On the highway to hell,” Adriana sang along, quietly, of course and gathered different supplies she needed today. She had already opened her book, turned to page 212 and set her cauldron up.

Saoirse returned to her desk, her hands holding the bezoar and unicorn horn. Upon reaching the desk, she noticed that the Slytherin girl had sat very near to her. She had not taken into account how hot professors can bring any hormone-driven teen to the front of the class. Saoirse thought of such things as silly, but reminded herself that she may think differently once she's a bit older. Right now, though, she just thought of boys as immature and irritating, well....except for JC Chasez. She would always hold a special place in her heart for that blue-eyed beauty.

After setting up her ingredients into neat little rows, in the order that she would need them, Saoirse took another look at the blackboard. Gather something from the boxes? Curious, Saoirse peered into the boxes, wondering what in the world all these strange items would be used for. Reaching in, Saoirse retrieved a few items and brought them back to her desk, setting them next to her cauldron.

Cecilie walked into the class and looked around for awhile. Then she read what was written on the board. She sat down somewhere and opened her book and looked at what ingredients she would need. She didn't have any of them. So she stood up, she went to the store and gathered all ingredients that she needed in her hands. After that she sat down in her place again and she did what book told her to do.
