I'm new! ^_^

Hello, my name is Desirae, and I believe I am the newest member to the site. I have participated in numerous roleplays around the web, but for some reason I always seem to pick the ones that fizzle out in less than a year.

Saw this place, and it looks pretty active, and like it's been around for awhile, so I thought I'd give it a try. Used to belong to another site, where I roleplayed as 'Professor Viktor Krum', but there was an argument amongst admins and the site broke up from the inside out.

Anyways, I usually go by the user name of SoubisSacrifice around the web, so some of you may have seen me before....I got some of the most detailed Harry Potter quizzes on quibblo under that username as well, so perhaps I've been seen before.

Anyways, looking foward to roleplaying. Interesting story-line, and as soon as I have a feel for the place, I just may look into playing as James Sirius Potter if he's still available.

Everyone here calls me Jackles and you're right- it's fairly active and it is long established. 3-4 years I believe. I've been a mod here, admin, and I'm one of those people that never seems to leave. I've already posted in your app (as Jaquellene "Jack" Dyllan) and I already have a good feeling that you're going to fit in here!

Mister Potter is available. This lists the available canons. He's twenty now, and all of his siblings are open as well. If you have any questions or roleplay requests, feel free to PM me. I have... eight or so characters always up for a roleplay. =)

I'm a bit of a spazz sometimes myself, Danny, so we'll get along great.

I saw your post under my character creation, Jackles, and it does sound like our characters would get along. I looked over the canon list before I made my character, and almost thought about rping as Teddy Lupin, cause I saw that someone had already claimed Victoire, and I thought it'd be fun to rp their romance. However, then I saw that she was only listed as being 17, and Teddy as 25. Confused me, because the two were only born two years apart, so I figured I'd go with James as soon as I got comfortable here. Got a pretty good story idea for him, but I'll prolly run it by an admin first, cause it's quite twisty.

And Aaron! I loooove Heath Ledger, so I'm already in love with your character. Was planning on checking out the rp request forum as soon as my character is accepted. I used to have Skype....may have to install it again.

Some of the ages aren't up to date on the canon list I don't think. Plus PA is a bit alternative universe, so some ages have been altered. If you wanted to change an age a bit, if you PMed an admin and ask they may probably will let you change it.

Anyway, welcome! I'm Jemma . It would be awesome if you played James Potter. I play Molly Weasley (the young one, Percy's daughter) and having another cousin around would be awesome.

Yeah, I was thinking about that last night, actually, lol. Remembered that this is an alternate universe, and that could be why the ages were different.

I do have a story-line related question, however. I read in one thread that Harry Potter had disappeared, and was presumed dead. Then I read somewhere else that Voldemort had murdered Harry Potter. Was he definitively killed by Voldemort, or does no one really know what happened to him?

The answer is important to the history of James when and if I decide to create a character application for him. Need to know if he's mourning the death of his father, or if he's torn between mourning and wondering what really happened to his father. Perhaps even a cautious hope that his father could still be alive.

I read that too, and I presumed that he may be back, but it's been ages since that plot so I'd say that Harry is definitely dead. I'll let an admin answer that question though.

I'll shoot 'em a message and ask if the body was ever found or not. Think I'd have to run the history I have planned for him through them anyways. It'll prolly be a little while before I attempt a character sheet for him anyways. Someone else may come along and snap him up by then.
