Years of memories gone by!

Sam couldn't believe that this was his fast and final year here, where has the time gone? last he remember he was a scared little first year trying to find his way around. Sam was really going to miss the place, Hogwarts was his second home and been for seven years now. It was going to be hard for Sam leave a place that he had so memories at. Although he knew that he was going to see some of his friends again so it wasn't the end. Besides, it wasn't like he wasn't going to see Hogwarts ever again either.


Sitting in front of the fire Sam stared into the fire deep in thought about how this year was going to be. He knew it was going to be harder but then again the same as well as all the rest of his Hogwarts years. But he knew after this year he wouldn't be coming back next year, unless he didn't pass this year. Although Sam was a smart person so he was sure he was going to pass with flying colors like he did all the rest of his years here. But Sam had to admit that he was scared, he didn't know of what but he was scared of leaving.

Sam guessed he was scared of a place that he felt safe and secured at for so long it was just scary leaving. Sam wondered what all the others seventh years thought about this year, surely they had to be scared as much as he was. But the year just started, so he had no reason to be scared quite yet. Realizing he haven't seen his two best friends today Sam begin to wonder where Leslie and Terra were.

There was a strange sense of insecurity within Terra right now. It was his last year at Hogwarts and as he walked up to Gryffindor Tower, he looked around at everything and realized just how much he was going to miss the place. Hogwarts ... Gryffindor Tower ... the common room ... the forest especially had been his home for, at the end of this year, seven years and he wasn't sure how he was going to get along without the safety of the school ... and of the forest when he needed it.

He sighed softly and took a last glance outside, making sure he was alone, and he said the password. Terra was quickly allowed entrance and when he stepped in, he looked around to see who was in there already. There was hardly anyone, but he recognized one particular person almost immediately. Just like when they were first years, Terra snuck up behind Sam and put his hands on his back, gently pushing him a bit forward saying, "Boo!"

After a moment that he laughed, Terra jumped over the couch and plopped himself down next to his best friend. "Hey Sam." he grinned at the other boy. "How've you been? How was your summer?" he asked.

Sam jumped as Terra scared him. "Jeez man, you scared the living daylights out me!"said Sam getting up from the floor. When he asked how his summer was Sam rolled his eyes and sighed. "Horrible man, just horrible my parents gotten divorce so now my parents are fighting over me."said Sam sighing. Sam thought it was going to be another fight as always, but this time it led to to his parents divorcing.

"How was your summer Terra?"Sam asked him as he flopped back down in his chair and ran his hands through his hair. "Oh you just so you know mate, those stupid rumors are still going around about you and Leslie."said Sam. "Rumor is some first year seen you two kissing on the train."said Sam sighing. He just wished they would leave his two best friends alone, if they were dating that was there business.

"I would've thought you'd see that coming at some point Sam." Terra laughed. "I've been doing that to you since our first year!" he chuckled and shook his head. "Awe, sorry to hear that mate. But they do realize that you're of age now and they don't really have much choice but to let you go, right?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at his friend. Terra wasn't exactly sure how that worked, his mum and dad never fought over who would have custody over him. His mum just left him with Fenrir, simple as that.

"It was ... fine, I guess. Just ran a lot of stupid errands for my dad." he shrugged. He sighed as Sam mentioned the rumors, "I know mate. They'll never stop. But it really doesn't matter anymore, they aren't rumors that are fake." he said calmly. "Whatever they want to say, let them." he added. He was pretty sure Sam understood what he was getting at but he said it anyways, "In case Les didn't tell you anything yet ... that rumor about the first year seeing us is true because we were. We're dating now." he said softly.

"True mate true, but one of these days your going to do it I'll put you to the ground."said Sam seriously. "Eh... I know mate, but my mother wants me seeing how he lost Jessica when we were little."said Sam shrugging. Sam didn't let many people know about his little sister Jessica who died when she was born. There were only two people who knew about it, that was Terra and Leslie.

"That sounds like fun mate."said Sam in a sarcastic voice which was what he did at times. Sam was a very sarcastic person at times, he might be a Gryffindor but he had some Slytherin traits in him like his father. Sam looked at him shock for a minute but then shook it off and smiled. "I'm happy for ya mate, I always thought you and Leslie make a good couple."said Sam.
