Xaldin walked into his class once it was completly full, good thing he planned for the entire year it looked like it would be a time consuming year. He grabbed a book on his desk it was the Charm textbook. He placed it back on his desk and pointed his wand at it, instantly the book flung open to page 345. Xaldin cleared his throat until the noise dimmed down to not a noise. "My name is Professor Merdalos, I will be your Charms Professor, I notice that almost the entire school is present in my classroom, I should consider myself lucky... not. When you speak of Charms, you talk about the dangers out in the world, but then again this isn't Defense Against The Dark Arts. But the common goal with the two classes is to learn how to use magic in the real world, weither it be a little trick or trying to save your life. It is vital that you learn how to protect yourself and other. Which is why Charms is required for all of your career paths, it is needed". Xaldin walked to side of the classroom and observed his students "I have seen what evil looks like, and I have had to protect not only me but the ones I hold dear to me. I am here to teach you my knowledge of the spells and charms, when we work we will work with partners, I will pick them and they will change with every new spell we learn. This teaches you how to work as a team, how to adapt". Xaldin looked down at his book "But first to start the year off on a good foot, tell me some of the most famous charms and give me a detailed explination of what it does. And when you answer for the first lesson, state your name and house. It makes it easier once it is drived into my head".
