Stair massacre - Open

Cat sat inside a hotel restaurant, a glass of untouched red wine in front of her and her nose in a book. She was listening to a conversation between her mother and a few of her french friends, and hearing them talk in between sips of wine bored her greatly. Cat was only happy that they had stopped doting her about her bright red hair. Getting up, her mother glanced at her and nodded, so Cat took that as she could go and do whatever she pleased.

Cat walked down the stairs to get to the lobby, smiling at her new freedom. Of course, that only for a second. As she was looking around, she fell down the rest of the stairs, and into someone's outstretched hands.

Alex had been to France once but that was with his Teacher Zada. And now he had went to go see his mother about something, and she dragged him with her to this fancy hotel because his Aunt was here. And she wanted to speak with his mother, and now he was left alone to do whatever he wanted. So he might as well get something to eat off his mother expense, and walked towards the stairs.

So he decided to head out somewhere else, only to have something happen to him once again. He saw a girl trip off the stairs, and he was going up the same way, and his instincts kicked in. He quickly moved and caught her in his arms, and wrapping them around her waist to keep her steady. There faces were very close to each a few inches apart, as he Alex would look at her with his Topaz and Emerald eyes, his mouth purged with a few words. " Are you okay? " Story of his life, always one thing happening after another, just great.

When the person had caught her, Cat had the wind temporarily knocked out of her. She felt dizzy, and she wrapped her arms around the person's neck, not knowing if she felt hands of her waist or not. The dizzy spell passed, but her head throbbed. She looked into someone's eyes, and she was only inches from his. "I think so." Cat wasn't sure what had really happened, other than the fact that she had tripped. "Thanks for catching me." She felt awkward, and she also felt bad. He seemed upset. Realizing she was still clutching him, she blushed, unwrapping her arms and standing up, feeling the second wind of her dizziness. Sitting down on the last step, she held her head in her hands.

She thanked him for helping her, but he was about to tell her how dangerous falling from stairs are. When she sat down on the last step, placing her hands on her head. She seemed to be ill, or really easily dizzied? He didn't know, but he didn't want to leave her alone to have something else happen to her.

He crouched down in front of her, and placed his hands over hers. Pulling them apart to look at her face, she didn't look that bad only for the blush that graced her face, and simply smiled at her calmly to give her good faith. " Do you want me to take you to your room? you don't seem to well " He said in a concerned tone, as he tried to see her reaction to his forwardness and his hands holding hers.

Cat hadn't felt this terrible in, well, ever. It seemed like every time that she moved her body was screaming at her, hating every minute of it, putting her in pain. Trying to stay as still as possible, she closed her eyes, focusing on her breathing and calming down.

Cat felt the person who rescued her pull her hands away from her face. Looking into his eyes once again, she looked at him, confused that he was still standing around for her. "Yeah, I think that's a good idea." Cat mumbled, trying not to be so loud that she would make herself sick. He seemed to be holding her hand, and she had no energy to do anything otherwise.

Nodding to her answer, he would help her up and walked her to a near by elevator, to the floors. Which was a very handy object because she didn't seem well to walk, as they got in. He pressed the button to close the doors, but didn't know what floor her room was on. Well he couldn't take her to his room, that would simply look really wierd and all. " What floor is your room? "

Cat started walking, but of course with the help of him. That's what she referred him as, because she didn't even know his name. "What's your name?" Cat asked curiously. He was helping her so much, she felt like she at least owed him something. Knowing his name would make it easier on her. When they got the the elevator, she sighed, closing her eyes. Cat didn't want to puke in the elevator when it started moving. That's the last thing that she wanted.

Trying to remember what her room was, it finally came to her. "Floor eight." That's right, Cat hoped at least. That floor, eight and beyond, was the suites of the hotel. Her key was in her pocket, and the only way she found it was it was poking her hip.

Alex pressed the button for floor eight, as he she asked for his name. He really just met her just now, but suppose that it wouldn't hurt at all. " My name is Alex Star, and yours miss? " He said sternly as the elevator started to move up to the floor highlighted on the panel, she didn't sound so sure but he would have guessed it was right.

Once they reached the floor, Alex would help her out of the elevator and walked into the long hall. Many rooms were on both sides, but he didn't know which one was the right one. That had made him frown, but he was still going to help her out, she reminded him of someone from his school. " Do you remember which door is yours? "

Alex Star? Something in Cat's brain remembered that name. Maybe he went to Hogwarts as well? Cat wasn't entirely sure. "Catalina Malcom. Please, Cat's fine." Cat smiled, laughing to herself. Why she always introduced herself like that, she wasn't entirely sure. She didn't want people to think that her mother named her daughter 'Cat', as Cat didn't want to think of her mother as insane.

"Ummm..." Cat stumbled a bit, looking at all the doors, all the same. Cat, confused, pointed to a random door. "That one!" She exclaimed, walking toward it almost drunkenly, putting the key in. Surprisingly, it worked, and as she was leaning on the door, she screamed, falling in the room. "Not again." Cat groaned, picking herself up.

Alex looked at her, as she spoke her name and he would smile as a response. He liked her normal name, he never liked calling people by there alias, he was respectful after all. " Your is really beautiful, it must compared to you after all " he said it being sweet and charming, like he was always told to be to a women.

He was going to leave her, but she had screamed and fell in her room. He walked over to her once again, and helped her up and took her to the nearest bed. Making sure to close the door behind him, looking at her from a side glance. " Catalina, what is wrong, did you have something bad to eat? "
