Wayne woke up to the cooking channel he had as an alarm and a book of potions on his stomach. "Crap." he whispered to himself as he heard his parents come to wake him up but he had read the book trying to learn how to make a potion to cure warts. Wayne quickly shoved the book onto the shelf it had been on before, beside his very own potions and cooking book he made which was more or less a journal with a fancy cover, and a book on 356 ways to cook Chinese. China, a place he had heard of in the newspapers, but never actually been, his mother informed him that American Chinese food that he had learned to cook was much different and the thought of making something like that would be thrilling. As he heard the footsteps get closer and closer, he made the best sleeping pose that he could, closed his eyes and slowed his breath down to where it took a few seconds to breath in, then out. His mom was the first to come in it sounded, she always was, she would see if there was any clues, and if there was she would call in his dad to take care of it. "Honey, wake up." his mom said softly. She had been working at a fine place called- well... he couldn't call it up to name.. but it was some muggle place.
"Wayne! up up up!" his dad said in a kind of chant, he always did that, mom would never be able to wake him up because of her soft voice, he worked at the ministry. "Yeah dad?" he said, giving off a yawn and wiping his eyes. "Breakfast, I got your meal prepared, your favorite, eggs in a basket" his mom said. He instantly got up, Eggs in a basket was a piece of buttered bread, then made a hole with a biscuit cutter, put in an egg and salt and pepper, then wait a bit. "Thanks mom!" he said as he ran downstairs and started to cook.
