GENERAL APPEARANCE:
Although his appearance suggests that Vincent may once have been quite attractive, there is nothing handsome about his features now. He has a rather long face, with sunken, narrow eyes which seem to stare at you for just a little too long. You can see the effects of his sickness quite easily on his face – the skin is deathly pale, as if the life has been drained out of it. Despite the less than attractive appearance, Vincent keeps himself well groomed, keeping his hair short and well brushed, and almost always wearing similar neat black robes. Vincent is not often found wearing muggle clothes, but he is able to blend in quite easily. He is quite tall, but looks shorter as he is very thin, and often requires a cane to walk when his sickness gets too intense.

PERSONALITY:
A complex character, Vincent is neither good or evil, but lies somewhere in between. He is not a particularly likable person, usually keeping to himself, and rarely does anyone bother to approach him. He's hardly had a friend all his life, and the only one's he's made are those he can use for his own benefits. Manipulative, cunning, cynical sly and dangerous, Vincent doesn't have to think twice about hurting or using others to achieve his own goals, although he has never enjoyed either act. Ambitious and determined, Vincent dreams of one thing in particular - power and control over others.
However, his ultimate goal of absolute power is not as damnable as it seems. In fact, he seeks power in order to create a better world. He hopes to seize power from the corrupt authority and handle it better. Contrary to his nature, Vincent holds a soft spot for creatures, or people, who are treated poorly because of their weaknesses that are not their fault (example: House elves.) Though people are usually surprised to learn this, this is mainly a result of how he was treated when he was young.
A torn individual, Vincent is very bitter and resentful towards his past, his physical frailty and people who treat their inferiors poorly. This means the rich, the people in power and even death eaters. However, he is also resentful towards muggles, mainly due to his experiences with them in the past. Extremely weak compared to most people physically, Vincent almost totally relies on his magic (as well as wits) to achieve his goals. Due to this he always tries to make himself even better at magic, using and mastering every type of magic possible. This includes dark magic and alchemy, two mysterious branches which he is one of the few to perfect.
There are also some instances where Vincent wishes he could return to his childhood, when he was still capable of friendship and love, something which he is not capable of now. For Vincent, power and magic are a compensation of the other things that he never had and never will.

CHARACTER HISTORY
------------------------------------------------------------
Early Years:
Vincent grew up in a small town in Scotland. The town was poor, and Vincent’s family even more so. His father was a carpenter. His mother was half-blood, but Vincent never saw her do magic, and is not sure if she was hiding it from her family, or if she was simply a squib. He was the second son to the couple, his older brother being strong and well built like his father. Vincent was more like his mother. A very frail child, life only got worse for Vincent as he contracted a strange sickness at a very early age, something that lasted with him for the rest of his life. Too weak to go to school, he stayed at home with his increasingly senile mother until she passed away. Afterwards, he was forced to enroll at the same school as his brother, where pretty much everyone else regularly bullied him. Vincent’s life was miserable until, sometime when he was seven, he figured out he could use magic. Unlike most children, Vincent was very aware he was a wizard, and could control his magic to some limit. Of course, he accepted the offer to go to Hogwarts when he turned eleven.
Hogwarts Years:
Vincent was sorted into Ravenclaw due to his above average intellect. Even here, where he thought he would fit in, he struggled to make any friends. This bothered him at first, but Vincent concentrated his time instead on excelling in all academic areas. Soon enough he established himself as one of the most promising students at Hogwarts. As his power grew, so did his disliking of others, and he regularly abused his magic to get revenge or simply intimidate others. Vincent got Outstanding marks in all his NEWT’s, but his most exceptional act was his mastery of alchemy, a subject not even taught at Hogwarts, but one that Vincent researched thoroughly, mainly to find a cure for his sickness.
Adulthood:
After graduating, Vincent returned to where he grew up and got revenge on those who had mistreated him. He realized, afterwards, that he did not enjoy the act of murder. Nevertheless, he has repeated the action several times. He was never linked to the deaths, and so he joined the Ministry the following summer. Although his ultimate goal was to become minister, Vincent first took the position of head of aurors. Working with Dae Diggory, Vincent used the aurors to take control of Hogwarts from Kingsley Shacklebolt, and then appointed himself as headmaster. As headmaster, he once again used too much power, making him unpopular with both the staff members and the students. Around the same time, Vincent also joined the death eaters, who he hoped would take care of Diggory. Unfortunately, Kingsley Shacklebolt intervened, and though Vincent managed to defeat and –apparently- kill him in a duel, this act made him an enemy of the Order, who used their power to remove him from Hogwarts.
Soon after, Vincent successfully led the death eaters to take over Grimmauld Place, although they were unable to hold it. He continued to help the death eaters, as he believed they would serve his own interests, and helped them in taking down Grindelwald.
Vincent has failed in his main goals several times, but he is extremely persistent. He has a rock solid belief in his own destiny, and knows he has the potential and skills to achieve what he wants.
