Dramatis Personae

This thread is a way of learning what each character has done on the site, and how they connect to the plot. So its a mixture of a journal and a character profile. This is very helpful for new members so they can understand the history of your character and how they are connected to the plot.

Anyone can post here with their character histories. However, they have to be involved in the plot in SOME way. They could be a Potters Army member at Hogwarts causing trouble around the school or an Auror fighting the Death Eaters and etc.

Aaron Marcheti

Age Was 20 when I joined, but I would peg him at around 22 now

Allegiance: Death Eaters

Abilities Occlumency, Leglimency, Memory Manipulation. He is tier 3

Background:
Aaron graduated Hogwarts and began studying abroad in the field of wand making. He studied under various wand experts and, eventually, he himself became a renowned maker but was by no means an expert. He returned to London and his extremist ideas, accompanied with his secretive demeanor, he began to formulate a plan that would change the wizarding world. He opened his own wand shop, became a Death Eater, worked alongside the Order to help bring down Grindlewald, and was recruiting an army of soldiers for his "next big thing". To his displeasure, he was stricken with the disease that began to take its hold on the wizarding world and had to put his plans in the backseat. Currently he is teaming up with Lorcan D'Eath to try and find a cure for the disease while also trying to restore legitimacy to the Death Eaters.

Allegiance: Order of the Phoenix

Abilities
Tier 1
Wandless Magic, Flying, Telepathy, Leglimency

Background:
Kingsley was for a long time the minister of magic. He was at the head of both the Order of the Phoenix and the Ministry when the third Wizarding War began. He failed in holding off Voldemort though, and lost the Ministry. Kingsley remained determined to stop him, and moved to Hogwarts, which he transformed into a sort of sanction against the Death Eaters. He was a strong leader, and eventually played a big part in Voldemort’s downfall.

After the war, Kingsley did not take back his previous posts as he believed that he had failed in defeating Voldemort earlier. Instead, he remained headmaster until Vincent Majere, backed by the ministry, removed him from that office. As things grew worse for Hogwarts, Kingsley, backed only by two of his apprentices, tried to retake the school. He was defeated by Vincent Majere, and thought to be dead.

However, he returned soon after to help in the battle against Grindelwald. Kingsley no longer holds the positions of power he once had, but he remains the most powerful wizard alive. With Jess taking over the order, and Robert in control of the ministry, Kingsley decided to reclaim the headmaster position in Hogwarts.

Jaquellene 'Jack' Dyllan

Age Nineteen.

Allegiance: Order

Abilities
Tier 3, and has Empathy.

Background:
No one realizes the danger with Jack- she is a wild card. Though allied to the Order because of her struggles as a muggleborn, Jack is allied to those she cares about. She has ties to Greyback's pack, she has created a werewolf, and she is still connected to the muggle world. Jack's ability of Empathy makes her a cursed superhero, unable to leave someone in need. Jack, unpolitical and crass at times, has lead Potter's Army, been an active member in the Order, and is a Head in the Ministry. With foots in all camps, Jack could be a perfect target for the Death Eaters- yet, she has ties there. Until someone utilizes her potential for greatness or disaster, Jack remains a great threat. To who, is the question.

Age Twenty

Allegiance: Order of the Phoenix

Abilities Tier 4 - Telepathy

Background:
Marcus was always the good one. He was a member in Potter's Army and when he graduated, he became an Order member. He started to work as Head of Law Enforcement, but took a break to hunt down his brother's murderer, along with his other brother. After that event was finished, he returned to the Ministry but became a Wizengamot member. Though he is a high-ranking member at the Ministry, his loyalties can never be question. He is allegiance is fully to the Order.

Background:
Even during his last year at Hogwarts, Monroe has been intent on improving quality of life in the wizarding world.

The outbreak of "viridis itch" had him questioning standard healing practices - did healers treat symptoms only, or could they identify causes in order to rationally devise a cure? He went undercover to investigate, first admitting himself to St Mungo's and then attempting to break into their potions testing lab in order to copy records about a possible cure to the illness (abandoned thread)

After graduation, Monroe applied for and was accepted as an intern at the Department of Beasts and Beings (interview thread). Seeing how werewolves were treated had convinced him that dramatic changes needed to be made in the Ministry and only he could be trusted to make those changes. He intends to become Minister for Magic in any case; this was merely his first step up that ladder.

Allegiance: Working on join the Order

Abilities
Tier 4, I haven’t done abilities yet.

Background:
After having her four kids, her oldest just moving out, she decided to start her career in the Ministry, late in life but that isn’t going to stop her. She’s set out on a mission to better the Ministry to what her Aunt had tried to do many years ago. While on her own personal mission, she’s trying to raise her kids the Bones way after recently getting divorced

ROBERT LUPIN

Age 62

Allegiance: Order of the Phoenix.

Abilities Potions Master, Healer
Graduate; Wandless and Nonverbal Magic

Background:
Robert is the brother of Professor Remus Lupin. He was the less adventurous, more logical of the two, the dedicated student. He married after Hogwarts, and he and his wife, Katherine (Kate) had one child, Khaat. Robert has an unplottable farm, and where he gave a suite of rooms to his brother to use when Remus found necessary.

When Khaat landed the director's job at St. Mungo's, she drew her father out of retirement to return to duty as the Chief of Staff there because of his skills with potions and healing. Robert has taken auror training but does not actively serve as an auror at present. After the battle between the Death Eaters and the Order in the Ministry a couple of years ago, Robert was also made the Minister of Magic. He tends to spend most of his time at the Ministry now, and provides medical services at the hospital as needed.

Abilities Expert firearms operator, experienced dueler; Animagus

Background:
Ever since Danny had entered into his teenage years, he has played a large part in the events of the Wizarding world. As a fighter, he is very skilled in both Muggle firearms and wizard dueling, showing proficient abilities in the face of adversity. Some of his more renowned events were freeing two prisoners from Azkaban and dueling the Dark Lord Voldemort with his friend Andrian Potter. In terms of politics and other large decisions, he has led the Order of the Phoenix at a young age of 15, leading them to successful raids against the Death Eaters until he stepped down a year later. He is still an active member of the Order of the Phoenix, his young fighting spirit still the same as it was years ago.

Background:
Ever since Hogwarts, Louis has played one of the Major roles in the battle against the dark wizards, always thinking he was good. But as of now, it may be possible he isn't as good as he thought he was, using an unforgivable curse against Lucius Malfoy in the battle for Hogwarts, and engaged with a girl, who used to be a Dark Follower. Some event's he has played part in, was in the battle for Hogwarts, where he had fought against Lucius Malfoy, and had to lead Potters Army away while Jack fought. Also he took over Potters army temporarily.
