Humming softly to himself under his breath, Sevastian walked with a slight spring in his step, feeling momentarily refreshed by the relief the potions he’d been given in the Hospital Wing had allowed him. His hair was plaited in a single braid, left to fall down his back and sway with the movement of his body as he strode almost wistfully through the corridors of Hogwarts. His smile was slight and his eyes were glazed, giving him a look of absentness that wasn’t as far from the truth as the slightly exaggerated expression suggested. They boy was only just returning from classes, fatigued yet feeling far more prepared to tackle the world than he had been the past weeks. Illness had been something that Sevastian had always been blighted by but never as badly as in the weeks past. He now wanted to use his time as wisely as possible, hoping to find something interesting to amuse his self with. He didn’t particularly want to go to the library, though - not that the library could be considered interesting enough to amuse a Krum, mind you. Instead Sevastian emerged from the castle out into the grounds where he took a walk towards the Forbidden Forest, slipping between the trees and into the murk of the wood.
The smell of spring-time decay was all around. Winter was beginning to subside and on the forest floor, life was beginning to sprout once more. Sevastian was careful where he trod, making sure to leave the Centaur tracks and little shoots of plants and trees untouched. He didn’t know when but at one point, his hair had thrashed itself out of the braid that had been kept in place by a spell one of the girls had showed him at the start of the year, making the abundance of hair bands he owned completely redundant. In his illness-free delight, Sevastian could not bring himself to care about the braid and so allowed his hair to fall free around his shoulders, giving him a more feminine and innocent look. With a contented sigh, the blonde Hufflepuff sat himself down on a log that had fallen during the winter, now partially covered by ivy. He dropped his bag down beside his feet not a moment later and grabbed a bright green apple from his pocket, bringing it to his lips, the crunch of his teeth breaking the surface disrupting the silence of the wood.
