You can own a canon or noncanon shop in Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, or Hogsmeade!
The shops have all been listed in alphabetical order so that the shops are easier to find.
Canon shops are available for ownership/management by players. Until such time as a business is owned by a member, the admin team will serve as the temporary manager for that shop.
A couple of important things to remember, though:
First, you must show activity in your shop. You must show interest in your own business or no one else will. At least do some IC posting there yourself. Any shop without activity for 90 days will be deleted.
Second, please keep your inventory fresh, particularly if you do a seasonal sort of a business. A change often generates new business.

IMPORTANT!: NO MORE THAN 2 OF EACH KIND OF BUSINESS--2 BOOKSTORES, TWO OF THE SAME KIND OF RESTAURANT, 2 APOTHECARIES, 2 BARS, ETC. TRY TO BE ORGINAL IN THE KIND OF BUSINESS YOU DESIGN, PLEASE. If you want to own a shop, here's what you do:
1.) Reserve your shop here. Once we have approved that, go to Step 2.
2.) Copy the form below and apply for what you want to sell, how much, etc. Remember, you can have only 5
catagories of goods in your shop, but within that, please feel free to be as creative as you like.
3.) Once that is approved, go to the shop and make your introductory post there that welcomes customers, with your price list attached. Alert us when that is done so we can "sticky" it for you. Feel free to include graphics, colorful fonts, all sorts of creativity to make your shop more inviting for others.
4. ) Just a hint from my own personal experience--Please check your "stickied" threads (and your shop) regularly. They are easy to forget, and, as in my own experience, I have had "specials" become semi permanent. LOL.
