Graduating from Hogwarts hadn't been as exciting as Scorpius had expected. For seven years he had dreamed of getting out, and now, he wished he was back there. He missed the castle, his friends and heck, he even missed the teachers. Sometimes. He longed to go back, if even for a visit, but visitors were not allowed in for some stupid reason, and therefore Scorpius had spent the day at Hogsmeade, where a couple students had come for their Hogsmeade weekend. However, it was past dawn now, anyd Scorpius found himself sitting alone and watching the castle as the sun set.
Scorpius had always gotten what he wanted, nothing ever stood in his way, and right now, he wanted to get into Hogwarts somehow, if just for a quick visit. He would be caught no doubt, but he was a Malfoy and they wouldn't do anything to him. The problem was getting in the castle in the first place. Suddenly then, he remembered the passageway. A passageway rumoured to be under the whomping willow, and leading out to the Shrieking Shack. Scorpius had never taken it, but if students snuck out of the castle via the tree, then people could also sneak in. It was quite a crazy plan, but disregard for rules was in his genes, he was a Slytherin after all. And anyway, if he failed, he could still check out the passageway and the haunted house itself. It was a wonder how in seven years Scorpius had never mustered up the courage to go into a house that probably wasn't even haunted in the first place.
Scorpius walked up to the Shack and paused, before mustering up some courage and opening the door. He entered and lit his wand with a lumos spell. Being able to do magic outside the castle was probably the only good thing about graduating, he reflected dully. Although not much of a coward, he had to admit that he was getting a few shivers as he moved deeper into the house. A creak alerted him, but it was nothing, and he continued his search. Surely it was downstairs? He entered the kitchen of the house but then heard a noise from the entrance room and quickly pointed his wand to the intruder. "Who are you?" he said, clearly frightened. It couldn't be a student, they weren't allowed out at these times..
