A Kitty Play Date

Serena spun around as she skipped up the main level from the dungeons, “What should we do today?” She asked looking down at her cat Socks who meowed in reply. “Oh that’s right we have your play date with Dukey today! Okay it’s to the lake we go!” she giggled as she headed towards the lake with her furry friend trotting by her side. Ashton was supposed to meet them there with Dukey but who knew what would happen, cats do have a mind of their own. Serena picked up her cat and scratched its head as she giggled. The eleven year old had dressed her pet up in a kitty princess dress with matching booties. “You look so cute today Socks and your dress is just so pretty!” even though the cat was male he was too old and fat to care what the kid did to it. “This is the Perfect place for our kitty play date!” she said sitting down and waiting for her best friend in the whole world to show up.
Rena was also wearing a pretty pink dress with white poke-a-dots, a white mini sweater, matching leggings, pink and white flats, and a matching head band. She smiled as she petted the cat as she watched the castle for the familiar site of Ashton with Dukey walking beside him.

Ashton raced down the stairs from Ravenclaw Tower his furry little buddy running down after him. He knew he was going to be late for the play date he and Serena had planned for their cats, and it was all Dukey's fault. The cat had thought it a good idea to wonder away for a while, leaving a distraught Ashton to look around frantically for him. It took him forever to find the sneaky cat, and he technically he didn't find Dukey. The fat little cat came trotting into the common room after coming down from the dormitories, looking happy and satisfied. "Oh, Dukey! Why'd you wander off?! Now we're going to be late for you're play date with Socks!" he huffed and they left the tower. So that's why now they were racing down the stairs.

At the speed they were going it was highly doubtful that they would have been able to have been stopped by someone. It was pretty important to Ashton to not be late for this thing. Not just the fact that he wanted Socks and Dukey to play together, but he also didn't want to get Serena upset. Only a terrible best friend would do that, and a terrible best friend he was not! They were out of the castle in no time, and were running on the grass in the Grounds heading for the lake. Once they were close enough, Ashton slowed down and of course Dukey did the same. "Shh!" he shh'ed the cat and he tiptoed toward Serena where she was sitting, Dukey following apparently doing the same as he was. They came up behind Serena and Socks, and Ashton quickly covered her eyes with his hands while Dukey just jumped on Socks. "Guess who!" he exclaimed happily.

Alright Alex, the most dangerous jump of your life, remember, just like Ezio did it.

Alex Jones said, standing on the ball point top of Hogwarts. He looked at the ground, "I'm going to die if I try this wont I." Alex said to himself. OH! Yeah that's right, that mini parachute I got from the Assassins Creed Nerds in the Hufflepuff common room. There were nerds in the Hufflepuff Common room, they sold Assassins Creed things. He had gotten a parachute bag, a Hidden blade, and throwing knives. Alex looked at his Satchel, and he swan dived off the castle, when he got to atleast the seventh floor he pulled the string on his satchel and the parachute came out and he started gliding through the sky, as he flew over the great lake thats when he noticed his mini parachute started ripping. "Oh God.." Alex said, as he flew plunging into the great lake.

Alex landed with his feet straight so was minimal pain, although he had lots of it. He looked up at the sun from the water and started swimming higher until he reached surface. Alex got off to the ground, and took of his hoodie and shirt revealing his abs, Alex had a shiver. He took off his shoes and socks and put them all onto the rocks. There he saw two little kids, really close to where he was. "Hi guys, erm... Don't try that at Home...... " Alex said. Water dripping down his head.

“ASHY!” Serena squealed as she squirmed around and hugged her best friend. After giving him a big kiss on the cheek she released the boy and gave him a stern look, “You were almost late. But you weren’t and Dukey and Socks are having fun!” she giggled as she watched the two fat cats playing together. “Now let’s just hope they do not rip socks new dress. If they do it will be the hundredth one this year!” sure she was exaggerating a little but didn’t she always do that? She loved being dramatic about little things like that. “Oh socks don’t bite it! That’s not nice! You’ll rip it!” she said glaring at her cat.
Hearing a splashy Rena turned to look as an older boy emerged from the water soaking wet. “Well no duh!” She exclaimed, “It’s too cold outside to go swimming! I mean come on its winter not summer time!” she hadn’t noticed him jumping from the top of the castle. She’d been distracted by the cats leaving her oblivious to anything else that went on around her. “You’ll get sick if you keep doing stuff like that. I mean didn’t your mum ever tell you not to go swimming when it’s cold outside?!”

Ashton laughed and sighed at Serena as she hugged him. "You guessed it." he laughed again as he sat down next to his best friend. He grinned at her after she gave him the kiss, though he blushed in embarrassment when she gave him the stern look and he just scratched the back of his head, continuing to grin like an idiot. He looked down at the two cats, watching them play and he nodded at her. "Yes. They seem to be having fun." he smiled. He drew his hand to his face, placing his fingertips on his forehead, and he laughed softly. "Don't worry about it Rena." he said. "If they do rip it... Well, we'll buy Socks a new one." he grinned at his best friend. He looked down at the two cats, and frowned slightly. "And Dukey, you better not rip it either. It is not nice to destroy others things." he told the cat softly, glaring at her.

"You know. I don't really know why I named her Dukey. Seeing as she is female." he sighed. With everything he said, mostly the way he said it, he was starting to sound like a real Ravenclaw. Ashton whipped his head to the side to see an older boy coming out of the water. He smiled at Serena and sighed. "Rena, he didn't go swimming. He jumped from the top of the castle." he whispered, looking at the parachute that hung from the boy. He then looked down at the cats and pet Dukey's head. "Seriously. If you keep doing that, you won't just get sick, you'll get hurt." he said simply.

Alex looked at the kids, his brain zoomed into his Sherlock Mode. Kids, obviously first year, boy rich and Ravenclaw. Girl, possibly rich, and either hufflepuff, Gryffindor, or Slytherin. Haven't ever seen her in the Hufflepuff common room, so Hufflepuff out for the count. I know lost of Gryffindor, but not many Slytherin, so either one of those. Alex zoomed back out. “It’s too cold outside to go swimming! I mean come on its winter not summer time!” The Girl had said to Alex.

"Well little lady, during in Canary Islands I went on a boat towards Sevilla, Spain, and we stopped for a bit because part of my training was to swim under the Icebergs close to there. It was freezing, so compared to this, this is nothing. I was just practicing Parkour is all. But, I tried to do a Leap Of Faith from that Muggle game Assassins Creed, fairly old, and I failed, and landed up in the water." Alex said. "By the way, my name is Alexander Jones, call me Alex, or Altäir, but I prefer Altäir. Cause it's a cool name."

Alex looked over at the boy. "Seriously. If you keep doing that, you won't just get sick, you'll get hurt." The boy had said. "Well I dont see why not, I mean I did it once in Jearuslem and broke the roof of a cidadel, all hell broke loose that day." Alex said. "Dukey? Isn't that the name of the dog from the really old Muggle Cartoon 'Johnny test'?"

“Oh,” Serena said looking up at the castle, “That’s a long way down…” slowly she turned back to look at the boy with her big brown eyes full of wonderment. She was wondering why he had chosen to jump from that high and how he had gotten up there. Then her wondering became planning. She wanted to see all the little people walking around down here on the grounds while she stood up there. She thought they’d look just like ants from way up there.
Even if she had keep wondering she wouldn’t have had to wait all that long because he started to tell her. Like she really cared… after he had finished saying what he had to say she just stared at him with narrowed eyes. “You’re crazy..” turning to Ashton she started to ask him a question but the boy started talking again. Rolling her eyes she started petting the two cats. “No it’s the name of his cat and the other one is Socks.”

Just listening to what this kid was saying made Ashton think that he was something that came out of a story. Something that thought it was immortal and that it could handle anything thrown its way. Of course everyone thought like that but with this kid, it was like he truly was invincible or something. Ashton just continued to pet Dukey's head not even bothering to look up at the kid after his question. "How should I know? I don't even know what that show is." he stated simply, looking down at Dukey and Socks as they jumped on each other happily. It seemed the presence of this boy didn't bother them at all, and he simply smiled.

He thought about what the boy had said about his name for a moment then looked up at him. "What does Altäir have to do with Alexander?" he asked. "I think anyone would prefer to call you Alex. It's even easier to pronounce for some people." he said. "My name's Ashton Charming by the way." he said softly, after he had looked back down at the two cats. "Obviously Ash for short." he added.
