Jack did not exactly wear a uniform in her shop, but she did wear a small manager/owner's nameplate and a spiffy bowtie that went well with her outfit. She had recently cut her hair super short and now spiked her hair up in the front. She looked a lot stronger now. Stornger than she used to and stronger than she usually was. What people did not realize was that she was falling inwardly, collapsing, no longer the strong brave Gryffindor.
But here she was, smiling as she pulled a magical popper for some school shoppers. There was a magnified BANG and a firework burst from the popper, followed by birds and some edible Dark Marks and other various delectable candies. The little kids grabbed with their grubby hands and she said, "That's right kiddos, only 3 sickles for a dozen of these. Great for celebrating Quidditch matches and the sort. Oh, and the prefects love these."
The children giggled and began to thrust coins at her. She exchanged them for boxes of poppers, slipping the coins into a pouch she had tied to her belt loops. The finally dispersed and she looked over at Rudi, a sixteen year old drop out that helped her out at the shop. She let him crash in the rooms above the shop if he got thrown out, which happened a lot, and he worked for her and she gave him money to eat and survive. He was brilliant prankster, he just got distracted by the pretty girls that came in.
"Oy! Rudi! It's about time for another Puking Pastille demo don't you think?" Rudi turned and reddened, though he grinned, knowing she was calling him out. He excused himself from the group of girls and Jack made her way over to the till, depositing the money and then looking around her shop. This seemed perfectly adequate for her new life.
