Miseria’s heart almost jumped when she saw Mira finally smiling back at her. For a moment she was afraid that Slytherin would push her away. Or even worse – insult her like other ones would do. She was holding her breath when their gaze met, and she felt really strange urge to run away, and maybe even cry in a corner. She was really afraid that after all what they’ve been through, Mira didn’t want to be with her anymore.
She looked around with a smile on her face, looking rather stupid. What she found amusing in this situation? The extreme and beautiful nothing! She was just too happy to see Mira to realize that there were people staring, hoping for one of the girls to start a conflict between them. But instead, both of the girls stared silently at each other.
When Mira spoke, the whole entrance hall echoed with Miseria’s laughter when she heard blonde’s answer. “Want me to feed you?“ she asked. It was more of an offer, actually. Then, she suddenly grabbed Mira’s hand and forced her to come with her, making her to walk into the great hall where supper was already on the tables. “Mm! Waffles and rainbow colored cupcakes!“ she hummed to herself when they marched through the hall. Since most of the tables were empty, and there was plenty of room for all the students, and even more, Miseria pushed Mira on one bench. They were quite far away from the other students.
Before taking a seat, she looked around, making sure that no one dared to come close to them. She’d rip those monkeys appart! She wanted to talk only with Mira and no one else. Finally, she took a seat and took one banana flavored cupcake from the plate and offered it to Mira:“Eat, my child!“ Her eyes were bright with happiness and excitement. She’d already forgotten about her bad mood, her anger towards Mira. Everything was replaced with cheer, joy and true warmth. God, how she missed her pretty Slytherin! She wanted to know everything. Why she had left her? Where had she been, with whom had she been and whatsoever.
