New Orders

Silvyr and Leah appeared out of thin air in the woods outside of Hogsmeade where snow had fallen early it seemed the night before. He hadn't expected to be back so soon though he found himself grateful that he never checked out of his room after his last visit.

He morphed and felt his fur and legs return to his wolf form. He had been unable to morph ever since hid departure for London and it had become more than a small thought in the back of his head. His fur matched beautifully with his surroundings as he felt the breeze, that moments ago had been freezing was now just a wonderful steady movement of air, around him. He began his walk towards the village.

As he had anticipated the village was buzzing with the festive season in the air. Wars may have been going on but Hogsmeade seemed to put it in the back of their minds for now. It was nice to see but he would not be here for celebrating. He was in search of someone of great importance and he was eager to get the chance to meet him. It might have seemed petty as well but he was eager to learn more about the Order and the faction of the war he had willingly joined.

He wondered to himself as he walked through the village making his way towards the Three Broomsticks if all of the members of the Order were as quirky and different as Jack had been. He knew labels existed for a reason but how spot on it seemed the one of the Order had been. Someone once told him, "You wouldn't know they were the Leader even if they were standing in front of you telling you they were." He hadn't suspected Jack for a moment, even doubted she knew anything about the war. How wrong it seems he had been.

He saw that he was getting close to the Inn so he stepped beside the building and morphed back into his human form. He didn't want to morph in public as often anymore. He didn't want any of Grindelweld's goons or Death Eaters to recognize him in his Animagus form. He walked around and entered the brooms heading up to his room.

He was glad to see that it was just how he had left it a week ago. He waisted no time and began on his letter to Jess.

Dear Jess Potter,

My name is Silvyr Svan. I spoke with a member of the Order named Jack Dyllan about joining in
London. I am in Hogsmeade at the Three Broomsticks hoping to meet with you and discuss whatever
I need to be filled in one. Jack gave me the gist but I would like to be fully prepared for the life I have
chosen. You can send me a letter back with my owl to acknowledge that you'll be meeting me here
at the Brooms. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

He quickly rolled up the parchment and attached it to Chouette's, his grand Snow Owl's, leg. "Do not leave him be until you are given a letter. You are not to bight him but make sure you get a letter." He opened his window and watched as she took flight into the snowy clouds that were hanging low in the sky. Her wings expanded and flapped sending her higher and higher into the sky. Her feathers blended into with the clouds as she vanished into them. Silvyr closed his window and stepped over to his bed. He had time to wait and he wasn't going to waist any of it. He laid down and focused his mind, beginning his Occlumency training which he well needed for the day. He could use a break from his own thoughts for awhile.

He felt accomplished that the wheels were beginning to turn, slowly, as he shut the world out.

Jess was sitting in his office at Hogwarts when an owl started to tap, rather loudly, at his window, brandishing a letter about on its leg until he opened the window to let it in, a move he almost instantly regretted as a shower of snow followed the bird in.

"Why hello there," he said to the bird, reaching out and removing the piece of parchment from its leg and reading the writing on it before frowning. "People really shouldn't use owls for communication in and out of this place, you know," he muttered to himself and the bird before rising and grabbing one of his travelling cloaks. "Come on bird, I'll meet you down there," he said, opening his door and walking out of the castle and down to the village.

He entered the pub and made his way up to the personal rooms, pausing at each door before finding the one the barkeep had referred him to, and entering.

"Silvyr, is it?" He asked, closing the door behind him before facing the man straight in the face. "Am i saying that right?" he added, his voice carefully neutral.

The peace didn't last long. He heard his door open bringing him out of his Occlumency training. He kept his eyes shut and heard Leah's feet shuffle as she stood next to his bed waiting for the intruder to become visible. He didn't reach for his wand or even open his eyes knowing that if this was not who he thought it was then he would be dead in a few seconds anyways.

When he heard his name and heard the fluttering of his owls wings flapping he knew he had nothing to fear. He moved his head slightly to look at Jess who was standing in front of Leah. He noted that he was more of the hero looking type than Jack had been.

He sat up from his bed, "Yeah you've got it." He stood and shook hands with Jess as he spoke, "You must be Jess Potter. And I take it you must be the Leader of the Order or else Jack would have sent me to someone else" while moving towards and grabbing the chair from his desk and handing it to him. "I didn't expect you to be able to come so soon." He took a seat on his bed, again, ready to begin his talk with the Jess.

Before Jess was able to say a word Silvyr began in a straight forward level tone, "To start you're probably wondering who we are. I am Silvyr and this is my friend Leah. We have been traveling around for the past two years taking care of what the Ministry has over looked while trying to deal with the Order and the Death Eaters. We like what we do, but we're ready to try and help the Order. Jack filled me in slightly as I said in my letter but I wanted to get an idea of what's really going on from you." he finished after attempting to fill Jess in.

Jess nodded, it was refreshing, he had to admit, to have someone before him who simply cut to the crap and got to business, people were far too subversive and dodged questions far too well these days, in his own opinion. "You take it right then, I am the leader of the Order, though I must admit it is a title a little too well know for one's own comfort," he muttered, rolling his eyes a little before glancing at his watch. "I live up at the castle most of the year, it's not a long walk," he said before launching into business.

"Right now we've actually undertaken a rather dangerous alliance with... well, it wouldn't be fitting to express who we've allied ourselves with people whom I have just met, no offence, however we have formed a considerable force and are now formulating a strategy to liberate the country from Grindelwald's hold," he explained. "We're always looking for people however, and right now recruitment is probably our highest concern, so as long as you're able to hold a wand and fire spells, as well as tell friend from foe, you two'll be accepted warmly into our folds," he said.

Silvyr listened intently and understood that it didn't take many words to explain a plan that had many of chances at failing. He had seen the 'hold' Jess spoke of and knew that the Order and Death Eaters would be going to hell and back by the end of this long drawn out fight. Though he had plans to make sure that the Death Eaters didn't come back at all.

After Jess finished he spoke with a smirk. "Well I hold the wand while she identifies the foes." He was apart of the Order, a fact that would take some getting use to, and ready to help. He said. "Only one question now, where do you need us?"

He would take notes over time and put together the puzzle piece by piece for himself since it was clear he was only going to get the outline for now. He didn't like being left in the dark but he understood it was just part of it. He was new and would be treated as such until he was accepted as a real member. Yet he knew if the pieces were there he could figure out what the Order and Death Eaters were planning, or rather hoping, would happen within the next few months. Everyone had a plan and he was eager to know where they stood.

Jess grinned and nodded, the man was cocky, a trait which he appreciated and often found himself more than capable of exhibiting, however that wasn't necessarily a good thing in their line of work, if anything it was quite the opposite. "Well then, I suppose I'll just have to take the two of you on as a package deal," he said, grinning as he grabbed a sheet of parchment and hesitated long enough to consider his prospects, though, in reality, his alliance with the Death Eaters meant he had very little to lose.

"Here you go," he said, jotting down the address of their Headquarters and passing it to the pair in front of him, "That'll answer that question," he said calmly.

"For now, we're still working out the complications of our alliance, we will however be meeting again very shortly, so be sure to keep your ears open for the meeting date," he explained. "We'd hate for you to miss it."
